Outwood Dental Practice

I have been with this practice for over 28yrs unfortunately I feel it’s now not meeting expectations, I pay for a monthly Denplan which is supposed to include 2 check ups and 2 hygienist appts, any treatment needed. However I have just tried to book these appts, getting appt with Dentist not a problem, however I have not been able to get appt with hygienist till the end of January 2027, that’s nearly 7months!

What a lovely experience! I was made to feel welcome by reception who aided me in completing the necessary paperwork. Then Dr Gurjit Bains, nurse Christina and an apprentice who were all very helpful, lovely to talk to, guiding me through the whole process. The work was then conducted with efficiency and pain free. It was as pleasant as you could ever wish a dentist visit to be. Thank you so much, I will certainly return!

Giving one star for the reception experience, no knowledge of the actual dentists, I’d like to think they are great. I’ve been looking to sign up my child who has special needs in a place where they might have a more relaxed approach with children. This looked perfect, website states they are open for children and adults and have both private and nhs spaces. I called the practice but no answer. I left a message, nobody contacted me back. I eventually decided to just drive by and ask. I drove all the way to there, reception lady looked very busy and impolite. She rushed to tell me they are not taking children, despite website saying they are, I asked for a waiting list, she said there is no waiting list and just blocked any tries for communication. They could have picked up the phone and save me the drive or at least give me an advice or other recommendations.

Excellent care. Gurjit takes time and care and the outcome is excellent. She is supported by a great team with skilled nurses, hygienists and the receptionists are great,

Dr. Gurjit Bains is the best dentist I have ever had. Her caring nature, knowledge, and professionalism are outstanding — I just can’t praise her enough. After a silly accident, I had my front teeth restored, and now I feel confident again. She has restored my smile perfectly. Thank you for the amazing work — I would definitely recommend her!

I have been a patient at the surgery for a few years now and always feel comfortable when I visit. I have a phobia of dentists but my Dentist Vicky and their staff has always been very patient with me when I have had teeth extracted and fillings. Reception staff are always very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for me and easy to get to. The surgery is clean and tidy and I feel comfortable visiting. Well worth attending if you are looking for a dentist surgery in Outwood.

First impressions have been really good, a thorough dental check up was carried out based upon the private dental care plan followed by a much needed hygiene appointment. A very efficient team that put you at ease and explain all the options open to you for treatment.
