Damira Cross Deep Dental Practice

I had two appointments yesterday — one in the morning and another at noon — and both experiences were excellent. The team was friendly, welcoming, and very professional throughout. Marcia truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and that patients feel comfortable and well cared for. Jayne is great at her job attentive, reassuring, and always making sure you’re okay during treatment. I really appreciate their willingness to help and the genuine care they show. Highly recommended!

I've been a patient at this practice for many years, and greatly value the care (dental treatment + hygiene) that I've received throughout (I have poor teeth!) - so I highly recommend Damira Cross Deep. Here are a few suggestions which occurred to me that would make the experience even better... After each routine examination, provide an email summary to the patient detailing: - findings of the examination - current dental health status + changes since last exam - recommendations for self-care focus - e.g. "concentrate on inter-dental hygiene on upper right" - provide copies of x-rays with issue comments Since most of the above is already recorded in the surgery's database, delivering the above by email shouldn't require insurmountable effort. (My understanding is that dentists know that 80% of their advice given to the stressed patient in the chair is immediately forgotten). There - that's my feedback - you're welcome! NG

I handed in an Apple Watch to the receptionist yesterday that had been left on the dryer in the washroom. She then passed it onto a member of the management staff in the back office. I did not at any point receive any gratitude, let alone acknowledgement. The owner was fortunate that it wasn't stolen or that she had to retrace her steps to work out where she had left it and the worries that go with that! Quite sad, really. Apart from that, Marcia was as kind as ever and a joy to see always. Thank you.

I have been coming to this Dental Practice for years and have always found staff pleasant and efficient, good at explaining things and caring.

Yesterday was my first visit to Damira for a check-up. The dentist I saw (Bianca) was very nice and seemed very professional. She promised to send me a treatment plan which I expected to receive before the end of the day. I was particularly keen to get the exact details as she told me after examination that I had "widespread decay" which caused me considerable anxiety. Today I called to ask why I hadn’t received it and I was told that she only works there one day a week and I will have to wait another week until she has access to the system. The receptionist said she would get the practice manager to call me back. The person who called me was very apologetic but was not the practice manager. She told me she was new at the practice. This doesn’t give me confidence about dealing with this practice.

This is an efficient dental surgery and Jane (hygienist) and Marcia (dentist) are lovely as well as very capable. The problem is simply that the whole process has become far too expensive. £180 for the cleaning and check up (no more than 40 minutes for both) and £210 for a 30 minute follow up "straightforward" filling appointment. I don't know who sets these prices but I suspect many people cannot afford to keep good teeth at these rates!

The whole family goes here, excellent service both at the front desk and the treatment rooms. Everyone is kind, patient and highly competent. Our teeth are in good hands, highly recommend!
