Taunton Dental Access Centre

I had such a positive experience at Taunton Dental Access Surgery this morning. I came in for a check-up and x-ray ahead of my upcoming wisdom tooth extraction, and the whole team made the process feel so smooth and reassuring. Darren on reception was absolutely lovely — not only was he a great help over the phone beforehand, but he also took the time to explain everything in detail once I arrived, which really helped put me at ease. My dentist Patrick was just as brilliant. He took his time to chat through everything with me clearly and calmly, which really helped settle my nerves. You can tell that both he and the whole team genuinely care about their patients and take pride in the service they offer. Thank you all so much — such a fantastic team and a really calming environment. Highly recommend!

It is in excellent condition and the facilities are extremely good. It stands in a lovely garden setting. There is a bus stop outside the gate. A drop off place is around the back. The staff were friendly. The podiatrist I had an appointment with was very professional.

Had an emergency appointment after one of my molars broke and became really painful and infected. Emily, the Dentist and her assistant where amazing and talked through each step as it happened. What’s better is Emily, the dentist is from Neath my home town is Port Talbot a few minutes away. She was very knowledgeable and it was amazing to talk to someone with the same local knowledge as me. Thank you to TDAC for your professionalism and amazing service!

I find dentistry a very difficult situation and personally struggle to undertake necessary dental work. My own dentist referred me to NHS Taunton who initially invited me in to review the work needed and later contacted me for an appointment which I convinced myself had to be undertaken. On the day 'flight or fight'? The actual dentistry performed on the day which included anaesthetising me was exemplary; my fears were unfounded and the skill and understanding of the team was exceptional. I write this to encourage other patients to accept their referral and to try and understand the benefits after their procedures.

After years of fear of Dentists, I visited this great practice following a dental emergency. Everyone made me feel so at ease and carried out my treatment with fantastic professionalism! Thanks to Emily and the team, my fear of dentists is gone! Thankyou so much!

I cant praise the staff and Andy enough,a very nervous patient with half a tooth that needed extracting..I was put at ease the moment I walked in and didnt feel a thing, it's been 2 days the socket healing great. Thank you again.
