The surgery reception had a calm atmosphere. The team were very professional, skilled and caring. Having had a bad dental experience a while ago I was very nervous but I was well treated by both the dentist and hygienist, who repeatedly paused to check I was ok. The practice seems to have a practical and pragmatic approach and I did not feel they were pushing to do the maximum amount of work and were happy to just keep it under review.

My wife and children have been patients for years, but I have been dental phobic for most of my adult life. A trip to pick up one of the kids had me booked in. John and Lucy have been very gentle. I only needed two fillings and some clean up work and I now have great teeth and have been taught how to look after them. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a friendly dentist.

I hadn't been to a dentist in almost 25 years following a traumatic experience during my last visit all those years ago. I spoke with Bridget in total confidence about my fear and she has been totally confidential with my issue and handled my treatment with the most sensitive and utmost care. It was possible I could easily have lost the remainder of my teeth over the next few years, but with the help of Bridget that will now not happen and I can smile openly again. The receptionists are always pleasant and very polite and friendly and speak to me as if they have know me for years. I am so so pleased the hard part is over for me and I can now go for regular checkups and hygiene appointments without a second thought. A big thank you to the whole team x

Extremely poor service, called to book an appointment only to be told I had been "unregistered" and would need to wait 6wks to re-register and pay an additional fee. This was without any prior communication, even though I'd been receiving other communications by text and email. I expect better, especially as a private customer - have moved to another practise.

I was looking for a dentist and was recommended the Shaw dental practice. One of my filling had come off so I needed that redone. When the doctor started drilling my tooth I realised his hands were badly shaking, The doctor was not able to keep the mirror steady enough not to clink on my teeth and while drilling I could clearly feel and hear his hands were shaking. Reluctantly I had to go back because the pain was still there and he told me that the adjacent tooth had a cavity as well. I did not allow him to drill another tooth and went to another dentist. She explained me that when rebuilding the first one it would have been impossible not to see the cavity on the adjacent one. Spent lots of money to receive dreadful service. Stay off it.
