The receptionist is unbelievably rude. She never acknowledges you when you walk in, doesn't greet patients, and is just as rude and dismissive over the phone. Her attitude is completely unprofessional and makes you feel like you're an inconvenience rather than a patient. I was removed from their patient list after missing just one appointment due to a genuine family emergency. Then, when I was suffering with severe tooth pain, I called for an emergency appointment and was booked in for Monday. Another dentist was able to see me the same day, so I phoned back as a courtesy to cancel the Monday appointment. Instead of appreciating that I'd let them know, I was told I was being removed from their books because I had cancelled. There is absolutely no compassion, no understanding, and no respect for patients. Being struck off for a family emergency and then again for responsibly cancelling an appointment I no longer needed is beyond unreasonable. If this is how they treat patients, I would strongly advise people to think twice before registering here. There are far more professional and caring dental practices out there.

I am in 2 minds over my dental experience. I booked on Monday for 2 visits (dentist and hygienist). When I arrived yesterday the dentist was not expecting me. I was therefore waiting nearly an hour. On a really positive note my dentist is excellent, very thorough and helpful. I believe my hygienist appointment is set for later this week. The appointment service and reminders used to seem better.

Just finished some cosmetic dentistry at Butt Lane Dental Surgery: whitening, white spot treatment and a front crown. Kish and the team have been absolutely fantastic and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. The crown procedure required quite extensive preparation work, but Kish explained everything clearly and carried out the treatment with great care and professionalism. The attention to detail throughout the process was outstanding, and I felt completely confident I was in expert hands. The final results are fantastic – my teeth are whiter, the white spots on my teeth have almost disappeared and the crown looks and feels amazing and fits perfectly. It’s a huge improvement on the old one and has made such a difference both functionally and aesthetically. I’m incredibly impressed with the quality of the work and the overall experience. Kish, Rida and the team are highly skilled, professional, and clearly take pride in delivering excellent results. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing dental work.

I'm afraid I'm leaving a bad review as I feel that the dental practice has gone down since the new owners have come. I'm lucky that I've only needed routine 6 monthly examinations there. On my most recent visit the receptionist didn't acknowledge me, say hello, or anything, she just asked my date of birth. Name. Payment- up front. As I left after my check up, again there was no acknowledgement. I thought she was extremely rude. Patients sometimes need a friendly face to reassure them when they visit the dentist. I think they should work on their people skills. Unfortunately I feel that about the dentist too. Maybe it's because I'm an NHS patient and they're not making money from me. As in another review I've read, I've never had a scale and polish since the new practice started, but I'm constantly asked to see the hygienist - at a cost of £53. If I could find a new NHS dentist I would change immediately.

My recent appointment was, as always, efficient, friendly and professional. I'm embarrassed to admit that as a grown adult I'm nervous to attend the dentist but I now couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Your appointment starts way before you enter the door, they have spent time checking your file and analysing your pre appointment questionnaire. Thank you to all of the staff at Butt Lane Surgery for making my dental appointments easier to bare.

I’m happy that my children have both been referred to the orthodontist however after my son was booked in for a double extraction to support his brace fitting only one tooth could be removed, the dentist said that he didn’t have time to remove the other as it would need cutting to get it out, after pulling and pulling on the tooth my son has been left until his next appointment to deal with the pain of this tooth half out and is also scared to go back because of the injections which will have to be done unnecessarily for a second time, this has been traumatic for my 12 year old son and could of all just been done at one appointment. I’m disappointed in this service on this occasion.

Excellent experience with the Hygenist. Sorry I dont know her name. She has helped me enormously with looking after my teeth better and avoiding further gum disease. She is very informed and professional.
