Bannockburn Dental Practice

Joining another Practice. Cancelled appointments for family due to staff absence is frustrating but understandable as absence can happen. The practice seemingly having no obvious plan to accommodate existing patients at later dates around the absence isn't helpful. I also called the practice on 25th February to seek an appointment for my 10 year old daughter, who was experiencing pain in her teeth and the receptionist said she'd call back. I'm still waiting for this call.

Almost looked for another dentist as mine had moved practice! I’m so glad I decided to stay and see Brian who had given me incredible implants. My visit today was brilliant, the reception staff were so lovely and helpful and the surgery was all decorated for Halloween which made everything so relaxing ( I’m a little jittery about coming ) Brian Immediately put me at ease and patiently explained everything he was doing. This is first visit I’ve felt so relaxed, thankyou all so much.

Genuinely awful, experience. Been trying to get a dentist appointment for over a year and a half, before I got married which was almost a year ago now. Eventually managed to get one 6 months in advance then it was cancelled because the dentist left. Tried for another 6 months or so but kept being told to phone back in 2 months 3 months etc. Finally gave up and registered elsewhere and my new dentist has been amazing, wish I had switched dentist 18 months ago. Don’t understand how this place is in business, it’s awful.

Called Wednesday with pain. Saw a hygienist as no dentist in. Advised to see dentist next day. Called Thursday. Can’t see dentist till Monday. Now left in agony !

Going to the dentist isn’t something that many people enjoy doing but I’ve got to say that Bannockburn Dental Practice is first class, the care I’ve received is excellent, the entire team from reception staff to the dentists and hygienist are amazing people who are very professional and friendly and I’ve got to say that rather than dread going to the dentist for a check up or hygienist visit , I actually don’t mind it at all because of the way they treat their clients

Been waiting on scans for after my braces for over a year. Have given up with them after paying a lot of money for their clear aligner treatment and the dentist then left practice. Continuously called and emailed and told someone would be in touch as new dentist was starting "next month", that was in September. Was supposed to get a call when the local dentist was visiting to do the scans and that was in January, as the machine apparently is always broken (as it was in March 2024 when I was told to come back in another day) and no one is trained to do scans. My sister in law works in an orthodontist and told me I should have been given check ups/a form of aftercare to ensure everything was in order but I’ve never heard from them since I had my retainers fitted a year ago. Been with the practice for over 20 years and recently they’ve been terrible.

On this occasion my visit was a positive one The problems lie with the amount of dentists available not of the quality of the dentist that is there
