I wish I had read the reviews before registering to this dental clinic. I have only one thing to stay. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY. Find a better clinic. The customer service is appalling and inexistent. The staff is more interested in chatting to each other than answering basic questions.They seem clueless about everything. They cant speak basic English, mind you, english is not my first language either, but good lord, if you're going to be a receptionist, find someone who can actually talk to customers. I paid for a band 1 treatment after reading what it covers (scaling and polishing), and they DID NOT deliver, when I asked them why I didn't get the service I just paid for. They looked at each other and shrugged and asked me to pay £75 more to get it done. They NEVER pick up the phone. You have to basically physically walk in the clinic to book an appointment. The room is dirty, the tools they are using are questionable, because everything looks dirty. How on earth did these people get a licence to operate is mind-boggling. The dentist could be the only good thing going on there but he is never there, and he is not enough to keep this sinking ship afloat. 1/10 score.

The practice was disappointing overall, and my last appointment left me with serious concerns. I had a tooth infection and requested antibiotics, but I was told there was no dentist available, as the only dentist was on holiday for a significant period. I was advised to call 111 and informed that I would not be seen by a dentist at the practice for several months. This experience caused me to lose confidence in the practice—not only due to the lack of available dental care, but also because the clinic itself did not appear very clean and felt somewhat unhygienic. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice.

Filthy dirty dentist! Outside had lots of litter on the side garden, no soap nor hand gel in the toilet, The dentist woman messed up my son’s tooth. I do not recommend this dentist at all, as for hygiene this dentist needs to be fully investigated. Avoid.

My family has been going to the dentist of they last couple of years as a nhs patient. i would not recommend this dentist if your an nhs patients as the do not have a qualify nhs dentist the only thing they can do filling as check ups and recommend what should what treatment is needed like i need a root canal and I was left in pain as the say they can't do anything. You just get told to find another dentist .when you should be referred to another nhs dentist for this Don't use this Dentist if your a nhs patient

I am a patient at this Dentist in Shirley Southampton and had to go and see them as I had a tooth infection!! It’s painful and needed antibiotics so I walked in without an appointment and begged for a prescription!! I waited less than 10mins for someone to see it really was an infection and got a prescription. That is unheard of but I was and still am so so grateful to them. The new management are Fabulous and without a shadow of a doubt would recommend this Dental Surgery ALL DAY LONG. (If you have ever suffered a tooth infection, you will know how painful it is and also know how difficult it is to see a Dentist as an emergency) They really are a Dental Surgery that is dedicated to patient care.and I’m very very grateful and thankful to them.

Avoid this dental practice! The clinic is absolutely filthy, the tools are questionable and could taste the metal which says to me they are not cleaned. The staff are rude and unhelpful. It needs to be investigated for health and hygiene!

I had a great experience at South Cliff Dental Group in central Southampton. The reception team was friendly and organised, and the clinic felt clean and modern. My dentist explained everything clearly and made the whole appointment feel calm and comfortable. The hygienist was thorough and gave helpful advice without rushing. Overall, it’s a professional, welcoming practice, and I’m very happy with the care I received. I’d definitely recommend them.
