Bupa Dental Care Sidmouth

I attended today following an emergency appointment a couple of weeks ago. This time for a check up. Once again a very friendly and professional visit. Initially met by Sonia and Taylor at reception. Great professionalism and more importantly friendly smiles and conversation. Shortly after I went upstairs for treatment, met by Tara (Dental nurse) and Chris (Dentist) Immediately put at ease and to be honest didn’t feel like a dental appointment at all. As professional as ever, I was talked through the process and treatment along with a great chat too. Chris then explained a new 3d scan process which frankly was amazing (pictures attached) Once again an excellent experience and I can thoroughly recommend all aspects of the process and staff involved. My previous reticence to attend the Dentist has been alleviated completely!!! Thank you all! Mike and Debs Ps. The pictures! The brown tooth is a gold crown and the interesting bit solves my questions about why there feels like there is a hole in my upper gum. The picture shows my lone lower wisdom tooth keeping growing and making its way nonchalantly through my upper gum! Needless to say Chris will be yanking that one out.

I had a wonderful experience at the practice. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well looked after. My dentist, Joana was very professional, kind, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making me feel at ease throughout my appointment. The complimentary 3D scan performed by Megan was an excellent experience. She explained the process clearly, and the technology itself was very impressive. Joana also took the time to go through my 3D scan results with me in detail, which helped me clearly understand my dental condition and the next steps. My husband, 3 children and myself registered here last August. All the staff are so friendly and helpful from the minute you walk in. Great when making appointments. Our treatments are given by Chris and Emily both put you at ease, explain the treatments they are giving and take their time. Emily has been super kind with our youngest who has a few problems with her teeth. All 3 children have commented they are now happy to go to the dentist and they trust her. (This is something from teenagers!) Thank you Sidmouth for being so lovely😀

My experiences at Bupa Dental Care have always been really positive. My dentist, Joana, is excellent, she’s very thorough and takes the time to explain things clearly, which I really appreciate. I always feel well looked after, especially if anything needs attention. The reception team are also great; they’re friendly, organised, and make everything run smoothly from the moment you arrive. Overall, it’s a reassuring and well-run practice, and I’d definitely recommend it.

I joined Bupa Sidmouth approximately a year ago after my previous dentist decided to try and force me from NHS to private. After a long time frustrated with them I decided to try somewhere new, even if it meant going private. Bupa Sidmouth came recommended to me, and I can see why. Every single time I’ve been in there (between dental & hygienist sessions I’ve been like 5-6 times already!) the staff have been kind, considerate and friendly. I’m referring to everyone I’ve dealt with there, the hygienists, dentists, assistants, and receptionist team. It never feels rushed, I’m never left waiting long for an appointment even if I myself was late. Moving the rest of my household over as I’ve been so impressed with them.

After part of my tooth had fallen out, I had called about ten dentists from Exeter to Bridport, and this practice was able to see me far sooner than anyone else. I’ve been twice now, and I couldn’t be happier that I am now registered with them. Everyone from the receptionist, to Joana my dentist is lovely. The work on my teeth has been exceptional. Thank you! Chris made me feel calm and at ease straight away. He explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushed, and answered all my questions. Such a relaxed, lovely manner—really pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend.
