Ridgeway Dental Practice

Great experience at Ridgeway yesterday. Forms sent by email pre appointment, which is much better than doing it upon arrival. Warm welcome at reception. Dentist (William) was supportive, easy to talk to and very reassuring, he took the time to listen to my concerns and explain options. Managed to get same day appointment with Hygienist (Lisa) again really supportive and easy to talk to and gave me advice on self care between appointments. I wanted a plan for my ongoing gum issues and came away feeling I’d been listened to and had a plan. Thank you!

Detached crown, upper second molar, exposed painful root stump leading to swollen gum. Obtained 'emergency' appointment with Laura at short notice. Initial X-Ray showed infected root with glass ionomer filling and signs of recent abscess. A tricky extraction was anticipated due to cracked tricuspid root system but Paul made light work of it two days later, prising it out painlessly in one piece without piercing the maxillary sinus (a common problem with 2nd molar extractions apparently). No significant bleeding. Paul is skilful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions, some quite technical. All good really. Discharged with a list of Do's and Don'ts and gauze pads for any bleeding. Adjacent wisdom tooth seemed a bit loose initially due to bone infection but that seems to be resolving itself now the source of the infection has been removed. Ancillary and nursing staff efficient and helpful as ever. Only negative is the restricted accessibility of the building which could be better, but that's another story.

Always friendly, attentative and helpful! Jayne, see majority of time on reception, always greets you with a lovely smile! I've used this Dental Practice, since 1989, recommended by a good friend... I was refered to Mr Richard Blythe. (Retired)... Now see Callum Porter-Jones., and Mrs Tracey Rupra, Dental Hygienist., their both very patient with me! It's a popular practice and very busy... Majority of time, i've been very satisfied!

I attended an appointment yesterday with Laura Webster and can recommend the care I received very highly. Laura and her nurse were so friendly and welcoming, were very supportive of my mobility and health needs and totally put me at ease whilst still being totally professional. Thank you.

My recent 6 month check up was very thorough. I cannot fault the service I received. Harry Brebner is a very personable and extremely competent professional.

I found the whole experience with Ridgeway Dental Practice to be a vary positive one. From the friendliness of the staff member on reception onwards. Paul Lugaric was excellent, taking time to explain the process I was to go through, the reasons for it and any risks. He also communicated clearly what was happening at each stage of the process of removing a wisdom tooth and made me aware what I might hear and feel at each stage. After the process was finished he took the time to explain what might happen in the next few days in terms of potential swelling and bruising and also what I should do. His dental assistant was also very pleasant and efficient in their tasks

I visited Ridgeway Dental Practice for a check up. As always the staff were very polite. The dentist and dental nurse made me feel very relaxed and reassured during the exam.
