Blyton Dental Scunthorpe

Lovely practice. Staff are extremely professional at all times and very friendly. Would highly recommend, explain exactly what they are doing as they go through your treatment plan with prior to carrying out any procedures you may need.

I have just signed up to Blyton dentist and needed to go to the scunthorpe branch to see the hygienist. My first impression was, a huge building which appeared clinical, not friendly and comfortable. The staff were amazing, kind and professional but I prefer Blyton original building

I can't express how thankful that I found this dentists practice. Having had very bad experiences as a child at an Orthodontist, I have spent my whole life frightened of dentists. I have wanted to have nicer teeth for many many years, but was too frightened to put myself through it. Someone mentioned Blyton were very kind, and after chatting to Rosalyn there, I felt optimistically assured. I took the leap, took Beta blockers and anything I could find 🙄 to be at my first appointment. I needn't have worried, Arun and all the ladies that I have had dealings with there were so lovely, gentle and understanding. I now have those teeth that I wished for, and actually looked forward in the end to my appointments, and without Beta blockers!

After many many years of being terrified to go to the Dentist I registered with a NHS practice in town, although the lady I saw was lovely I did feel lectured and pressured on most visits and always came out shaking after treatment. They constantly cancelled appointments which isn’t helpful to a nervous patient. In Dec I decided to change, and made my first visit to see Brenda. Brenda is the most caring person who is genuinely wanting the best treatment for you , she took the time to talk, settle my nerves and showed interest in what happened years gone by to cause such nervousness. I happily made my 2nd apt with her which was yesterday for an extraction . I was still nervous when I went and unfortunately had a long wait , which couldn’t be helped. Brenda was so apologetic , got me in the chair and talked me through everything she was going to do, she really is a diamond. I still got myself in a state but on reflection there really was no need, I never felt a thing and I definitely for the first time was not shaking when I left , her patience, her kindness and understanding are a credit to her. I will definitely be returning for my next apt, maybe still nervous but I know I will be so well looked after. Brenda I can’t thank you enough.

Delighted to have found a dentist who really cares about her work. Brenda takes time to explain exactly what is entailed in the treatment being carried out and is genuinely interested in your well being. As for the practice, it's located on a busy industrial park, parking is generally ok, the building is very modern, with a very pleasant and comfortable waiting room. Charges are towards the mid to high end of the private scale.

I had Invisalign treatment with Mr Salem and I’m so happy with the end result. He and his nurses have been so patient with me and been so accommodating. My first visit to this practice I was a nervous wreck, with the help of the staff I am now confident walking into the dentist. The reassurance I had from the nurses inspired me to become a dental nurse myself. I am now 10 months into my new career and loving every second helping other anxious patients who remind me of myself only 18 months ago.

So impressed, I called 8.30am on a Saturday for an emergency appointment and they got me in by 9am and I was out by 9.30am, I had my tooth removed and everything was explained clearly and went very smoothly, couldn’t thank them enough!
