Dr Andy Tannahill

Andy has been my dentist for many years now, and I would never go anywhere else. I’ve always had the best of care from him and his team, and have never any pain whatsoever. I can’t rate him highly enough.

I cannot thank Dr Tannahill enough for all that he has done for me recently. I am just so incredibly grateful. The dental nurses and 2 receptionists are also such lovely welcoming people.

Best dentist ever! I have been coming since my 20's as my teeth weren't great (unnecessary work in the past I think), and have hardly had to have anything done since. He picks up things that need doing before it is an issue. He is very sensible and kind. I have been coming well over 20 years now and I live in Hull so it is a bit of a trek but well worth the drive. He was also very good in lockdown as he stayed open when many closed and left their patients to suffer.

I'm a nervous patient, and I must say that Dr Tannahill gave me excellent reasurance, and after a long period of time not visiting a dentist, he was absolutely brilliant and so professional. I highly recommend him.

Horrible experience with this 'man', certainly should not be a dentist. First appointment he was fixated with my chest. Next one, blatant disrespect. Was really aggressive and happy to hurt me. Absolutely no care or concern. He asked if I was nervous but instead of helping my nerves he made it about himself. How he felt. What the hell?! A narcissistic sadist is not what you want with a dentist. The surgery and reception are thoroughly depressing, very unpleasant. Was informed by another practice he'd have been unable to do the work required anyway. So incompetent also. What a disaster. I'd stay well clear if you like being respected and successful procedures.

Dr Tannahill has always been my boy’s dentist and has always had a friendly nature & showed professionalism. Today I had to take the youngest child in for a tooth out Dr Tannahill and the dental assistant were absolutely amazing so patient with him and answered all his questions. Highly recommend Dr Tannerhill

I moved to this practice a number of years ago and it’s one of the very best in Scarborough. Mr Tannahill managed to extract a difficult wisdom tooth that was causing issues. This avoided a hospital visit and procedure which I’m grateful for. Staff are friendly and helpful. Brilliant overall service.
