Ardent Dental Care - Dentist in Pontypridd

I have had a fantastic experience with Ardent! Dr. Richard Horton is the kindest and most amazing dentist!!! He and Sophie the dental nurse looked after me so well. Lovely staff in the surgery on reception also!

This is a really good dentist. I joined 18 years ago and it wasn't so good then, with the dentist calling me by the wrong name constantly and then causing me to need root canal :/ That dentist left a long time ago now and I have had no issues since. I see Richard Horton and he's very nice and good at his job. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely horrendous. I went to them last year as I need several teeth out and I asked for this to be done under general anaesthetic, the dentist referred me but under sedation. So porth dental unit said my dentist had to refer me back but under GA. 5 months later and the referral still hasn't been done. I phoned up today and was told i had to go back in to have xrays done and an examination, this is a waste of my time and my money as its treatment I dont need done. I was told I was being rude due to me expressing my discontent at the situation and lack of care from my dentist. I would stay away from this place, it seems they're only interested in charging you for things you don't need.

Very happy with this dental practise. I have a great dentist and I believe she's the owner. The nurses and reception staff are all so helpful and efficient. The practise is clean and bright and modern. Would recommend 100%.

Had a fantastic experience at this dentist. My teeth were badly damaged through a seizure. Richard and his colleague a dental nurse done a wonderful job fixing my teeth and I’m a lot more confident and happier now. Polite staff at reception too, very clean facility. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Many thanks!!!

Used this dental practice for over 20 years. Great friendly people and always very helpful. Needed emergency treatment this week and was dealt with promptly and efficiently, in a nice friendly informal atmosphere, if going to the dentist can be an enjoyable experience this is it!
