The Mount Dental Practice

Been going here about 8 years, always pretty decent. Educates and informs rather than "just a quick look" like many I've had. Talked about pro's of waterflossing, floss technique, etc. Often busy though, which is a good sign.

I attended today through NHS 111 for an impacted wisdom tooth, and as someone who struggles with anxiety, I was really dreading the appointment. However, every member of staff I met, the receptionist, dental nurse, and dentist was incredibly patient, informative, and welcoming. Although I didn’t have the extraction here, I did have X-rays and a thorough cleaning, and the dentist has now referred me for the extraction. The dentist took the time to answer all my questions, explained everything clearly, and was exceptionally patient throughout. My appointment ran on time, and the practice itself is spotless, easy to access, and has a large car park conveniently located at the back of the building.

Terrible practice. My 4 year old has had 3 dental appointments cancelled by these. He has only been seen once and everytime we rearrange they cancel. If it was the other way around and we cancelled or didn't turn up we'd be taken off the list and fined. The one time we were seen we were told they were 40 minutes behind.

Very happy with this practise . The service was really good staff were very nice and caring . The dentist was patient with me being anxious. The nurse was very supportive. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a wisdom tooth extraction. 10/10

I am writing this review as an NHS patient. They are the worst dental surgery i have experienced in my life. I am late 30's and lived all over England, experienced over 20 surgeries and this is by far the worst. This is an honest opinion and i cant comment for the private sector of the surgery. Even though i go to a private dentist now, i would still not use The Mount Dental Practise due to the poor service they offer to NHS patients.

The staff here are so helpful and always courteous. I'm so pleased we have a NHS dental surgery like this in our area. Thank you for your hard work - I don't think people realise how lucky we are to have you.

Highly recommend this dentists. Had a lovely check up with Ted Romney ( Dentist ). Super scale and polish for me and was so good with my 2 kids age 2 and 4. Thanks Nick
