A huge shout out to Dr. Maddy Bratescu and Carly at My Dentist Peterlee. I recently visited the surgery with a broken wisdom tooth which Maddy did an excellent repair job on. Maddy was very welcoming, fully explained the treatment needed and was gentle and patient. Following the procedure, I needed two further appointments where Maddy was thorough, full of professional courtesy, empathy and care. Maddy takes the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped put me at ease. I felt well cared for and confident in the treatment received. I highly recommend both members of staff at this practice. Many thanks to them both.

John and Karlie were very reassuring and explained exactly what was happening at each step of my treatment, which was really reassuring. They helped me to feel at ease and gave clear aftercare instructions. The treatment was painless. Great service.

I have been visiting the Peterlee practice for several weeks recently and have been very happy with the experience. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and my dental treatment has been very effective. Thank you Maddy and Louise for making each visit worthwhile, explaining the treatment and being thorough and patient.

I went here for an emergency appointment with severe toothache. The dentist was very nice and put a temporary barrier coating on my teeth, but it didn't work. By the weekend, I was in agony from room air and biting pressure. When I called back on Monday for a follow-up under NHS continuation of care, the receptionist refused to help, claiming it was "standard care" and not an emergency. Considering I was in extreme pain and the dentist had previously commented I had a massive hole in my tooth yet didn't do anything to ease anything with it, I found it an unacceptable experience.

Been with this practice for many years, before it was changed to My dentist. It seems they don't like it if you don't go and pay for regular check ups even if you're not having any problems. Rang up today to book appointments only to be told I've been taken off the system and if I wanted an appointment I would have to register and pay £79 as it would be private only. Daylight robbery, The receptionist was very abrupt and lacked customer service, no compassion and only interested in me going private. I'm now registered elsewhere and will make sure my daughter and family do the same.

John and his team have been looking after my teeth for the past 3 weeks over 4 seperate appointments, credit to the business, nhs trust and genuine bloke. All appointments on time and what could only be described as a breeze given the situation.

My children have been coming here forever now and Shay and Jill are just the best! Shay is super understanding and explains everything he is doing and has been a huge help and Jill is also super friendly!
