Smile Design

This must be the most hospitable dental practice I've ever been to!!! When I called to register and book an appointment for a check up, the Practice Manager Jackie took me through everything step by step and answered every question and concern I had without hesitation and full reassurance. When I came in for my check up, all the staff I met at the front desk, including Jackie who I'd previously spoken to, were very warm and welcoming. I was then seen to by Dr Turner who made me feel comfortable and gave a full check up without any pain or discomfort. I'd highly recommend Smile Design to anyone looking for a practice in the area, particularly with staff as friendly and helpful as this!

Lovely dental surgery Would highly recommend Smile Design to friends and family. Have been a patient of Charlies since smile design opened and I honestly couldn't ask for a better dentist. Charlie is welcoming, polite and caring. I have recently had some treatment done at the surgery and he has been very patient and clear with what is involved. Jackie and Alison have also been amazing at getting me suitable appointments around childcare and work. Lovely staff and lovely surgery ⭐

Really poor service from this dentist. Missed a new registration appointment due to work last year and when my wife called up to rebook as I had to have emergency treatment at Broxden they have refused. When she advised it was nhs treatment I was after due to now not working they still said I had to pay the same fee as a new private patient of £40 despite them being the only dentist in Perth taking on new clients. Staff members were rude and argumentative to my wife which in turn caused her behaviour to mirror theirs. She then advised she would contact her MP and papers as they basically refused NHS treatment to a PKC citizen. The dental nurse/office manager Jackie then made the appointment when my wife called out her attitude and behaviour. They have since emailed me today saying appointment has since been cancelled due to threatening behaviour!!! Therefore it’s ok for smile design staff to be rude and argumentative however when patients call requesting to be an NHS patient this is their excuse to ban you as they aren’t making any money from it. Jackie’s words. Jackie also advised some of her other patients had moved to an alternative practice within Perth. This does not surprise me in the slightest as their service is shocking! Avoid at all costs!!! NHS dentist not taking on elsewhere so now also currently left without a dentist.

Recently joined the practice after a long hiatus from dentist due to a mild fear and bad experiences. I joined as an anxious patient but Dominic was incredibly helpful and made I understood my treatment plan and made sure I was comfortable during each step. Cannot stress enough how much this helped. Highly recommend for anyone who is hesitant about returning to a dentist or is perhaps embarrassed about being scared of the dentist.

Fantastic practice and lovely staff that were willing to go the extra mile for me as I was in a lot of pain.
