Dr. Murgai is truly exceptional. After experiencing dental trauma in the past, I was incredibly anxious about seeking further treatment. However, Dr. Murgai's expertise and compassionate approach immediately put me at ease. His deep understanding of dentistry, combined with a gentle and reassuring manner, has completely transformed my perception of dental care. I felt heard and understood, and he took the time to explain every step of the procedure, ensuring I was comfortable and informed. I now trust Dr. Murgai implicitly with my dental health. His skill and empathy have made all the difference, and I highly recommend him to anyone, especially those who have had negative experiences in the past.

I’m genuinely surprised by the description of Dr. Murgai as a caring dentist who prioritises patient comfort — my experience was quite the opposite. From the moment I walked in, the tone was dismissive. His first words, leaning back with a smirk, were "what’s the issue?" — hardly the warm welcome one expects. Without warning, he placed equipment in my mouth and physically moved my chin several times instead of simply asking me to adjust. Communication and courtesy seemed to be optional that day, or maybe he’s that way with certain people. I’ve seen plenty of dentists before, and basic manners and respect for personal space are usually a given. Perhaps he was having an off day, or perhaps courtesy isn’t his strong suit. Maybe sour by designer items, Porsche key and the fact I’m in workout clothing, that he disapproves of. Some people mistake years on the job for mastery — I’d say that’s optimistic I don’t care how long he has does his job for. He was awful and lacked the basics of a dentist.

Had a lovely treatment with Leyla, will definitely be going back. So friendly and thorough with the facial I had.

I used to feel quite nervous about dental visits, but James is incredibly patient, kind, and takes the time to explain everything clearly—his skill and expertise are evident. Beth, the dental nurse, was a friendly and reassuring presence throughout the procedure. A great team- thank you!

Visited The Oxford Smile Clinic today to have a tooth removed. I was looked after by James and Alisha. Both were very welcoming and friendly. They put me at ease straight away. James explained the procedure and reassured me that I wouldn't feel any pain. I can honestly say I didn't feel a thing! I would highly recommend James, a very good dentist and a lovely chap.
