Oxford Orthodontics

I had my Invisalign aligners taken off in June 2025. The teeth were straightened, which was great, but unfortunately my bite was not properly adjusted. It is now Jan 2026. Having worn the essix (transparent) retainers every night as per the therapist suggested for over 7 months, I still couldn't bite tightly on my back teeth. There were some horizontal and/or vertical gaps between them, which more or less affected my chewing functions. When my last set of aligners were removed, my teeth were not examined by Dr Khan, the orthodontist, but only by the therapist, which were not supposed to be right. I have now left the UK, and have to find another orthodontist in order to get my bite improved, which could be very complicated and expensive. I cannot say my experience here was terrible, but it was just not ultimately satisfactory. P.S.: The dental models were very recently taken, and the gaps mentioned above could be clearly observed. I first came here in 2021 for Invisalign and met Dr Khan and his team who took excellent, professional care while I started my course of Invisalign. The team were great at keeping me informed of my progress and I achieved great results with my teeth that I’ve managed to sustain thanks to their advice. I’ve recently returned to have my teeth whitened and am looking forward to the results to come from this. I would highly recommend the centre for anyone looking to improve their smile.

Appointments at Oxford Orthodontics keep getting postponed without any call or notice, which is really frustrating. Recently, a 3.15 pm appointment was cancelled the day before. We were told reception would confirm, but no one called. Arriving on time and being turned away wastes time and causes unnecessary stress. This has happened before 11 months ago, an appointment was cancelled without warning, and 5–6 months ago, a report that was supposed to go to our NHS dentist never arrived until we chased it ourselves. On top of that, if you’re even 5 minutes late, you have to rebook, which feels like a penalty. Overall, repeated poor communication makes what should be a simple visit stressful and inconvenient.

I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr Khan and his amazing team, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! My teeth look absolutely fantastic now. Dr Khan always took the time to explain every step of the process, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout my treatment. The team was always welcoming and professional. Thank you, Dr Khan and everyone at the practice, for transforming my smile. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering Invisalign — you’ll be in the best hands possible!
