Cowley Dental Practice

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Very hit and miss. The first time my husband went, the dentist was excellent and explained everything well and prescribed antibiotics. Unfortunately, they didn’t work. What happened after , was very disappointing. We called the practice as my husband was in severe pain . The receptionist advised us to finish the full course of antibiotics and ended call mid-conversation, and even hung up when we called back. My husband was in severe pain with a dental abscess, they didn’t care to listen to our concerns that he might need drainage. Very unprofessional and lacking empathy. It’s disappointing to be treated this way when you’re seeking help and in significant pain.

My parents and I have been going to Cowley Dental Practice for 6 years now, and they've always been excellent. Sushila, the Nepali dental nurse, has been incredibly helpful as she translates for my parents, which has made their visits so much easier and taken a lot of pressure off me because I don't need to attend every appointment with them. The entire team is professional, and the practice is clean, organised, and always accommodating with our appointment requests. We genuinely feel looked after and highly recommend them.

This dental clinic exceeded my expectations. The team was attentive and genuinely caring, making the entire visit smooth and stress-free. The dentist was very thorough during the exam and provided clear recommendations without any pressure. The atmosphere was calm and comfortable, and the equipment looked up-to-date. Overall, a very professional clinic that provides excellent patient care. I’ll definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing experience! Dr. Sayma made me feel so comfortable and talked me through every step of the treatment. The staff is kind, caring and very welcoming. I left feeling confident and well-taken care of. Highly recommended!

Unsure why this practice has such good reviews. My partner had 3 fillings in my one rushed 30 minute session where the dentist pushed us to have no anaesthetic. Post filling there was lots of sensitivity and the gap between two teeth had been sealed across the biting surface to the point some composite broke off in their attempts to floss. It’s now 2 weeks later and there’s a throbbing sensation coming from these teeth. My partner has been advised to go to AE in case there’s infection or abscess from the botched fillings. Very disappointed considering we paid private pieces for these fillings. Simply spend your money elsewhere, where they don’t rush you or try to upsell you on teeth whitening. Avoid if you are able to.

This practice is amazing! They helped me get my registration and assessment done, and then referred me to the hospital for an X-ray. The whole process was smooth and professional. A special shoutout to their lovely receptionist, Erum — she was so kind and helpful throughout. You can really trust this place!

Had my tooth extracted here and the whole experience was very smooth. The dentist explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The staff were friendly and professional. I felt well looked after and would definitely recommend this clinic to others.
