I can’t recommend Charing Cross Endodontics highly enough. I was terrified about having a root canal after hearing so many horror stories over the years, but my experience couldn’t have been more different. From the moment I arrived, Jonathan and his dental nurse, Sam, were so kind, friendly and reassuring that they immediately put me at ease. What I expected to be a stressful experience actually turned into a genuinely pleasant one. I even found myself enjoying listening to their conversations about nature during the procedure—it was such a calming distraction and made the whole experience feel so relaxed. Jonathan’s expertise and professionalism were evident throughout, and I am so grateful that he was able to save my tooth. The care I received from both Jonathan and Sam was exceptional, and I left wondering why I’d ever been so frightened in the first place. Thank you both for your kindness, compassion and outstanding care. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone needing endodontic treatment.

Having total confidence in our regular dentist for over 15/20 years my wife was somewhat apprehensive in being referred to another dentist (Charing Cross) for root canal treatment but her nervousness soon disappeared on meeting Barbara! At the start of treatment Barbara clearly demonstrated a genuine caring and confident approach, explaining the treatment clearly which was carried out (March 2026) professionally and was painless. Very fresh and clean environment. The whole practice made you feel at ease. Communication (including the team) both before, during and after treatment was excellent.

I was referred to Jonathan (Hatton) with an abcess on a crowned tooth with complicated roots. The treatment I received was highly professional. Jonathan ensured I was informed about options, the treatment process and risks. The care I received was excellent. The whole team are friendly and helpful. Treatment was intensive, careful, and successful. I have absolute confidence in the practice and would certainly recommend Charing Cross to anyone requiring root canal work.

Yesterday I had my first visit to this dentist. I met with Barbara who was very welcoming and put me at ease very quickly. Barbara was very thorough with her examination and told me what to expect each time she did a different test. She was also extremely happy to discuss and show me the different options available to me and at no point did I feel rushed or unable to ask questions. I went away feeling extremely happy and today received a full report from her by email. On a practical level, St Andrew's car park is a couple of minutes walk away and there are toilets at both the car park and the practice. I have no issue in recommending Charing Cross Practice based on my experiences.

What a fantastic caring practice! No stress, just a calm friendly attitude which was great. Unfortunately my tooth could not be helped, but Jonathan talked through options which will be referred back to my dentist to attend to. Jonathan was very straight with me and told me directly he wouldn't let me waste my money on treatment that wouldn't work. Can’t beat that honesty.
