Hanover Dental Practice

No problems with the actual dentist but trying to find out the status of an NHS referral turned out to be impossible. After waiting for my next 6 monthly check-up, followed by several calls, going in in person and a written request asking for a written response following a call that made no sense, I've made little progress. Original referral was last July/August in theory.

Booked online. Easy peasy. £28 for first initial appointment. Was nervous as was having pain in a top tier damaged tooth. She quickly did an x-ray and managed to fill and save my tooth 🦷 She explained procedure all way through and was very calm and kind. Lovely modern practice. 5star

Very good service. Was quite anxious but Ashi and Iris helped me to not be anxious and I had my carer with me as well so between everyone we did ok. I wanted to have fillings without pain killer but my 3rd filling was too painful so I had an injection. Was worried about this but Ashi put me at ease saying it won't hurt much and I'm glad I had it done.

I had a broken tooth that was causing me pain and was given a same day appointment. X-rays determined that I needed root canal treatment. I attended for this on Tuesday and was very nervous about this but I needn’t have been. Giida Mohamed is the absolute nicest most gentle dentist that I have ever been treated by, talking me through every step and making sure that I was ok throughout, and although uncomfortable (from holding my mouth open for the better part of an hour!) there was absolutely no pain after my treatment.

Today I had my first appointment at Hanover Dental Practice, and I’m very pleased with the care and service I received. My appointment was with Matheus Pires, who provided high-quality treatment, including taking my dental X-rays and performing a thorough cleaning with great care and professionalism. He was also very friendly and helpful throughout the appointment. The receptionists were welcoming, and the clinic is clean and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr Gidaa has been amazing from start to finish. Attended because I had tooth pain. I’ve had bad experiences with dentists but Gidaa was incredible. Understanding, polite, reassuring and not dismissive of anything I said regarding to pain or issues. During procedures she always checked in to make sure I was okay and gave clear instructions. Thank you for making what could have been a really unpleasant experience positive. Would highly recommend this dentist. Open later and at weekends to fit around commitments too.

I would highly recommend this clinic to all my friends. From the moment I walked in, the staff welcomed me with a warm smile and ensured a smooth check-in. Another positive point is that the clinic itself was exceptionally clean and organised. My appointment started on time, and during the consultation, Dr. Matheus Pires was very attentive, explaining each step of the procedure and showing genuine care. He’s an excellent professional and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to all my friends.
