Mayfield Dental Care

Have woken up on the day of a routine simple check up with a high temperature, very bad cough and obvious cold like symptoms ,I rang them immediately to inform the practice I had concerns of coming in with the potential to spread germs to anyone within the vicinity. I was told it would go down as a late cancellation and if I repeat within 12 months I will be removed from the practice. So today on the 1st of December I will unfortunately be in the waiting room possibly ruining someones lead up to Christmas so as the dentist can reclaim it's fees. I would not recommend this practice as it clearly doesn't prioritize the health of their customers which in this day and age is nothing short of despicable.

Just don't. Not too sure about others but one of the dentists pulled my tooth absolutely unnecessarily and the case is now with an ombudsman. They don't even have running water in the chairs - after a hygiene appointment I was not given water to flush my mouth from all the mess. Times are bad but this place is a hell hole.

Recently joined as new patient, relief after paying private due to long waiting lists on NHS. I've recently suffered with tooth ache, the reception was able to get me an appointment same day, hardly waiting time when I arrived and the staff acknowledge you and keep you posted on what's happening next. My dentist was quick to diagnose the problem. I can't fault the team at all, it's been a fab service.

I joined there waiting list a while ago to be added as an NHS Patient. They contacted me when they had availability and booked me in for my first appointment. I have the pleasure of having Vikki as my dentist. Herself and the rest of the team put me at ease and make the visit comfortable and easy. I’m sure I will be one of their patients for many years to come.

Fantastic, I've been petrified of Dentists all my life, attended an hour or so ago. Made me feel at ease, and before I knew it, all done. The Dentist and his assistant were 100% patient and understanding. Great work thankyou.

Such a friendly welcome from the staff at Mayfield Dental Care; they were very helpful with a few questions i had. The dentist was calm, efficient and attentive. Also, the environment and facilities are to an excellent standard. One of the best dental surgeries i have attended and a highly rated experience overall. I had reason to need a quick appointment and this was done with no issues at all..the staff from entering the surgery to leaving are all so kind and caring. As a very nervous patient I can highly recommend this surgery for their professional yet empathetic way with me. I have been a patient here for over 30 years and never had cause for concern.
