I have spent 25 years avoiding dentists due to overwhelming phobia, I had to go here for emergency treatment which led to an extraction. I saw Ignacio and he was an absolute delight. He kept me calm, had a great rapport and a brilliant sense of humour. Drs and dentists often are rushed so don’t explain things fully due to time pressures however thankfully this was not the case in my experience, Ignacio was remarkable and explained everything. Showing me the x rays and giving me the ability to make the correct decision for me. I am very grateful and just wish I could be taken on as a patient permanently. Thank you to all the remarkable team!

Sharika Alam is simply the best dentist ever. I suffer significant anxiety and have had to have numerous treatments ,the most stressful being an extraction. She was so patient,kind and empathetic i cant say enough nice things about her. Chloe her dental nurse was amazing too ,i nealy cut off the blood supply to her hand i hekd it so tightly. I had a panic attack half way through and both ladies were phenomenal. Wonderful. Thank you.

After being terrified of the dentist my entire life this dentist surgery has totally changed that! I got an appointment as an emergency with a very painful abscess. Dr Alam couldn’t have been kinder and she is a brilliant dentist (I am now on their books). This surgery is like no other i promise. All the staff are kind, patient, funny and simply wonderful. I am now pain free and definitely not dreading my next appointment. I am actually looking forward to seeing them all again. Thank you all at Higher Road especially Dr Alam (other patients have told me that all of the dentists are just as nice by the way). If like me you have avoided the dentists for years go here!!!!

So disappointed . I went for the dental appointment which I waited for two weeks.The dentist said she is not trained to deal with my issue but she can do it if I consent.It might work or not. I said,no.She gave me an antibiotic prescription to take home while I decide on what I want to be done.When I took the prescription to the receptionist to stamp it,she was shouting talking to me.I asked her,"why she is shouting at me like that instead of asking nicely if I pay for my prescription.She wasn't taking my answer for yes.I cried so loud because it was embarrassing and she was intimidating me and talking to me as rubbish.Even her mouth expression were viral,which I mentioned it to her that even doing that to your mouth.She walked away from the reception.The other receptionist calmed me down . I took the prescription to the pharmacy to collect the antibiotics but they couldn't give me because the dentist didn't sign it. I rung back because I live far and they said she will be back in office 4 days time. Now at an emergency dentist. Really disappointed with them Negligence and unprofessional

Dr Shariqa Alam is the nicest dentist I’ve met she is so knowledgeable and friendly. I had a good service today and she did her very best, I’m very satisfied I can’t wait to my next appointment I feel in safe hands with her. She was very patient and kind Thank you so much. 😊
