Carholme Dental Practice

This is an excellent dentist! I have been a patient for about 5 years on the gold plan. Prima has such a calm and reassuring presence when you are having treatment, she is like anaesthetic 🤣. The gold plan is definitely worth the monthly payment as it includes 2 appts and 2 hygienist appt a year, plus additionals. I do have to comment on the reception team too. They are consistently pleasant and helpful. I hope you find this helpful!

Outstanding! I booked in as an emergency patient and left as a life long patient. Honest, real, person centered care! My treatment was discussed with me and the options explained. Teeth taken care of!

The practice visit was excellent as usual. Prima and the team saw me as scheduled. After checking my implants it was decided I needed another appointment and I was amazed to get one for later that day. It was not until 5 years ago when I decided to have implants with a removable denture that I really appreciated the precise and skill of Prima. Looking at the scan of my gums she explained where the implants would be situated, how far apart and the depth of each implant. Very pleased with the results.

Looked after everything requested, arrival and service was swift and rebooked in straight forward. Dentist offered guidance to help moving forward which was great. Only thing is the parking but early morning there are spaces so it’s ok.

Great credit is due to Carholme Dental for the care and professionalism shown to my 88 year mother during her recent treatment. I am grateful to all the staff, in particular Neus the dentist and her dental nurse for their patience and great work.

I have been invited by the practice to review my latest visit. After requiring an urgent appointment due to a tooth breaking, I had great difficulty in securing an appointment and dealt with a receptionist who appeared careless and who I had to chase for an update. She seemed more interested in giving me a warning for not having had a check up in the last year - despite the practice itself cancelling my last appointment - than actually helping me. Before that I was waiting in line for over 30 minutes (which is fine, I understand places can busy) but I wasn’t happy to hear a receptionist pick up the phone and immediately hang it up. The dentist I did managed to see (who would not treat my issue properly, bar a temporary fix) also berated me for not having had a check up in the last year, making me feel really bad about myself, despite my reasons being financial issues and work commitments. Though I appreciated the temporary fix, no one seemed interested in really helping me. This is the absolute worst experience I have had at the practice - everything before now had been really great but I am now very anxious about attending my next appointment with them.
