West Street Dental Practice

I am honestly very impressed by West Street Dental Practice. I had my first check up from Kadeesha this week which was very thorough. Today I saw Louise the Hygenist and it was honestly the best teeth cleaning I have ever had. She was also very friendly, polite and checked I was comfortable all the way through. Friendly and polite receptionists also. I Will definitely be returning and signing up the rest of my family. Many thanks

I find the receptionists at West Street Dental Practice to be unfriendly when speaking with patients, especially patients of black origin, because this has happened before. And the service has deteriorated; you are charged every time you call for help with a dental condition. I was seen today, and I paid the checkup cost; why couldn't I obtain a full checkup with my payment? Instead, the receptionist told me that I needed to book another checkup before December and pay or else I would be removed from the NHS list, so I asked for clarification, and she claimed that I would lose my place in their clinic, in a very nasty manner. They're looting us in broad daylight! How horrible!! Is this really NHS??? They don't even deserve a star!

was here this week, lovely dentist who was very kind and professional,however the woman on the front desk kept interrupting me and treated me very differently from English people! I felt uneasy and unwelcome, reception is the first impression .

Very disappointed with the reception staff. The receptionist came across as rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone from the start. At one point, I was even given a "bombastic side eye," which felt unprofessional. Patients should be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

I recently completed a full restorative dental plan with Dr. Roshan Patel and his amazing team – Ana, Gabi, and Lilliana – and the results have been fantastic. The process included a deep hygiene appointment to get my gums healthy, precise jaw records and a 3D diagnostic wax-up to plan the final result, along with injection moulding to rebuild both upper and lower teeth for a stable, natural bite. Dr. Patel also carried out composite restorations on my back teeth, fitted indirect onlays for added strength, and provided a night-time retainer to protect the new work. From start to finish, everything was clearly explained, carefully carried out, and the attention to detail was outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome – my bite feels great, my teeth look amazing, and the whole experience was professional and reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his team for anyone considering restorative or cosmetic dental work at West Street Dental Practice.

I have visited the practice a few times now and the dentist I have seen Dr Sanket Mehta is simply the best! I am a very nervous patient and each time he has made me feel at ease and given me reassurance the whole way through any treatments. Years ago I would have been a nervous wreck going to the dentist but Dr Mehta does not make me feel this way anymore. Thank you very much Dr Mehta Oh, and not forgetting the reception ladies, so friendly and very welcoming each time - thank you ladies

I decided to visit this dental practice to register as private patient. From the moment i walked in receptionist was moody, uninterested and said twice there’s a waiting list (for NHS. I didn’t say NHS. She pretended as if she couldn’t understand me (never had that before). I told her again i’m happy to go private so i can be seen asap as my tooth cracked. Nothing available until next week (not even given the date). She just looked like she wanted to get rid of me so i said I will go somewhere else and her response = ok. As someone who runs my own business I would send her packing on the spot! Worst customer service ever! Terrible attitude and disgusting manner is not a good look for your practice. Do not recomend! Take your hard earned money and spend it where you are treated with respect and care as dental surgeries should be treating their patients.
