Kidderminster Dental Access Centre

4.2

Kidderminster Dental Access Centre offers a mixed experience to its patients. The staff's attentiveness and calming demeanor are frequently praised, with many patients feeling comfortable and well-cared for, even those with anxiety. However, there are notable issues with appointment management and service quality, with some patients reporting long waits and rushed, inadequate treatments.

The centre excels in handling emergencies and complex cases, with some patients experiencing swift and effective solutions. However, inconsistencies in service and communication can lead to frustration. Overall, while the centre has a dedicated team, improvements in scheduling and service quality are necessary to ensure a consistently positive experience.

Called up on Wednesday and got an emergency appointment booked for Thursday the following day. Had to take time out of work to go, only to find out when I got there that they had taken all my details (because I was on the system) but not actually booked me in, so apparently there was nothing they could do for me on the day, despite being given an appointment over the phone previously. Offered to rebook again but I can't take more time out of work. Lost wages due to taking time out of work, lost money on fuel, lost money on paying for car parking all for nothing. Absolutely appalling that you can't even book people in properly.

Waited over an hour to be seen. Did a poor excuse of a filling. Completed the job within 10 minutes no wonder filling only lasted 4 days !!! Dental practise was closing at 5pm which clearly explains why the dentist did such a horrible job. Appointment was at 3pm and I wasn’t even seen till after 4:12pm. Left the surgery doors, having paid etc, at 4:30pm. Trying to leave on time was more important than doing their job properly. Tooth is now in a worse condition than originally when I came in !!! Furthermore a rude receptionist that speaks to you like you’re two steps behind in the English vocabulary. On top of that refusing to give a refund on a service that was so poorly done in the first place. No clue what they’re doing there. Running on vibes at this point.

Been in pain with a rotting tooth for nearly 2 years after failed attempts with my own dentist, apparently my own dentist kept saying it was put through as an emergency extraction when it doesn't take 2 years to hear back so I was fobbed off with my own dentist. I phoned 111 on the Wednesday and got an appointment here on the Friday, that same Friday I was in and out and had my wisdom tooth what was rotting for 2 years out within 35mins. Absolutely brilliant service, friendly staff. Couldn't recommend enough. Credit to the NHS. I can't wait to start getting a proper night sleep and enjoying food again with no more pain. Thank you so much!

After being in a lot of pain for several days while working away from home I had an extraction and even though it was hard to get out I had no pain whatsoever. The dentist (can't remember his name sorry) and nurse Teresa was amazing with me very calming and very attentive, I hate going to the dentist but this was a pleasure. Thanks again!!
