C.J. Harker & Associates Ltd.

I have been a patient with C.J Harker Dental Practice since childhood, with both senior and junior members of the Harker family working on my teeth across both the Keighley and Silsden sites over the years. They have always gone the extra mile for me; clearly explaining what my options are, why treatment is needed, and talking me through what they are doing during procedures. That is a touch I personally really appreciate, especially after previously using a dentist abroad where the dentist sat in silence while working on a tooth. Open communication is always reassuring and helps put you at ease. My wife is also a private patient there and shares my positive experiences and opinion of the practice. The reception staff also deserve a special mention; they have always been friendly, approachable, and helpful whenever we have needed assistance.

After not booking an appointment for a while they dropped me off their NHS list, and now I'm without a dentist. They never gave me an e-mail, a text, a phonecall or anything to let me know that I was at risk of losing my access. When I asked they said it was entirely my fault for not constantly checking that I was still on the list. I would not recommend unless you really enjoy making sure that you're on top of every single thing all the time. They are clearly looking to get rid of any NHS patient and replace them with more money-making options.

I had a tooth extracted today and felt very anxious about the procedure; it has taken me a few years to build up to having the tooth out. The dentist, Grace, and her assistant were both amazing and put me at ease right from the start. The dentist talked me through the procedure and reassured me throughout; she took her time to make sure I was comfortable. The dental assistant (didn’t catch her name) was equally reassuring and made me feel calm and supported. Thank you both for your professionalism and patience today, you were fab! I really appreciated it

I booked an emergency appointment with this dental practice after I had been experiencing some pain around a molar which had become really bad the night before I was due to go on holiday. They kindly fitted me in the morning before I was due to fly in the afternoon. The dentist, Nick, was brilliant. He talked me through the options and we decided it was best to have the molar extracted which he did there and then. Special mention also goes to the receptionist who actually phoned me back to fit me in as they initially didn’t have any appointments when I phoned and also to Bryony for her encouragement and kindness through the extraction! I was very happy with the service I received.

So glad I was advised to visit this dentist, great experience, Ann and her assistant were lovely also the receptionists. Thankyou, it's rare to be treated with respect these days.

I had a front tooth that snapped off while I was on holiday, when I returned I contacted the Silsden surgery and got an appointment with Mrs Taylor immediately, I had the extraction and a new plate fitted within 24 hours. I had no discomfort whatsoever during the whole procedure. This is not the first time I have had exceptional service from this Dentist. I have used this company since Mr Harker started in wheathead lane in Keighley about 50 years ago and have always had great service from all the dentists in group. Thanks Mrs Taylor.

Had appointment with dental hygienist and assistant on Friday. Very pleasant, thoughtful and helpful. I didn’t feel rushed they were efficient and took time to keep asking me if I was ok.
