Hazel House Dental Clinic

2.6

Hazel House Dental Clinic in Inverness offers a mixed experience to its patients. While some praise the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, others note a decline in service quality over the years. The clinic has faced challenges with staff turnover and appointment cancellations, leading to long waiting times for certain procedures. Despite these issues, recent improvements in care have been acknowledged, particularly with new staff members.

The clinic's transition between different management teams has contributed to inconsistencies in service. However, the receptionists are generally noted for their courtesy. Patients seeking prompt and consistent dental care may need to consider private options, as NHS treatments can face extended delays. Overall, Hazel House Dental Clinic strives to provide adequate care but faces ongoing challenges in maintaining service reliability.

My thank you to Morven, Mr Boyle and Mr Purvis and the remainder of the staff. My experience with both Stoneyfield as well as Hazel House Dental Clinic has been a very positive one. I received the utmost care and support in a professional but also courteous and friendly manner.

My wife Sally Mackenzie had an emergency appointment today for a cracked tooth. A big thank you to Morven on reception and to Mr Robert Purvis for their care and attention.

This practise I have been with for years. It has gradually declined in service over the years resulting in a high turnover of staff and currently only employing one dentist across its 3 treatment rooms. The feeling of somewhere overwhelmed is apparent and very uncomfortable. Book ins are blamed for only half treatments being done and appointments are cancelled regularly, resulting in 6months plus long waits for the patient. I have personally been waiting over a year for a procedure that has twice been cancelled. Promoting private work and putting nhs treatment into over a year waiting list for procedures. I would not recommend a visit to Stoneyfield dental surgery unless you are willing to wait a very long time for any remedial works.

No resident dentist, no check up appts ! Only seen if its an emergency. Disgraceful service and its been like that for 5+ years.

Ever since Stuart Fobb and his team left this practice, it has seriously gone down hill. Was due my 6 month check up today at 2.50pm only to turn up and find out there was not a dentist available today. When did I get a text message to inform me of this cancellation.....only 5 mins before said appointment. Common courtesy obviously not high on the agenda for this practice, I had to rearrange my work schedule for this appointment then they cancel at the last minute. Asked if I could make a further routine check up appointment only to be told nope as the current dentist is retiring!! If I have an emergency dental problem then I can phone at 9am on the day to hopefully be seen by a dentist.

Been trying to get a filling sorted but it seems these guys are just not interested. I first of all got butchered by 1 of your dentists (never been in so much pain in my life) and half a job done. Then they cancelled all my appointments because this dentist has walking out of the job. I now have a massive hole down to my root and I've left messages and tried to call number of times but nothing. I've have now been seen and the new staff were absolutely superb, not exactly sure who the girl was but wow, its like chalk and cheese the difference between the dentists. I am changing my review due to the latest dentist I have seen. Such a lovely person and a massive asset to the company. Changing from 1 star to 3 because of the new dentist (I think it was Ulia), either way she was just amazing. I hope she is there to say as it would be a massive loss if not.

Never see the same dentist. High turnover of staff it seems. Daughter terrified of going to dentist due to lack of consistency with staffing. Hazel house has changed hands three times since i have been going which is about 5 years. It was oasis dental now bupa. Receptionist are generally friendly, but today less than helpful. Such ashame. I think going private is the only way forward really struggled finding a decent dentist in Inverness .
