Hove Family Dental Practice

Always the biggest thank you to the lovely Itzia at Hove Family Dental clinic. I have been with this practice for nearly 6 years now having followed my previous Dentist around for 15 years who eventually gave up and retired. I was recommended HFD clinic by a neighbour. It was one of the best moves I made when I moved to HOVE. Itzia is incredibly skilled with her work and always gives you her honest opinion. I totally trust her when it comes to looking after my teeth which in term makes me very honoured to have her as my Dentist. It is definitely a wonderful practice with such friendly staff all the way through to the reception team who will do their hardest to fit you in if you need Emergency treatment. Thank you to everyone! 😘

Absolutely wonderful dentists and the reception staff are so friendly and welcoming. Gabby Itziar De Anton was brilliant with my daughter who was really nervous about visiting and Miriam Gutierrez has also made both my children feel at ease Highly recommend Hove Family Dental

Unfortunately, I have to agree with another review about the receptionists, who can be awkward. I used to really rate the dentist (the only one in Brighton who was trained in Stockholm that I know of), and the hygienist is lovely! I used to recommend them to my friends too. Now, after having been their private client with my son for years, I tried to book an appointment, and was told that I'm no longer on their list since last year! And no-one's told me during all that time. I was not given a clear reason, but I suspect it was because I continued to give them feedback about their rather unfriendly Covid hangover policy of charging the fees in advance (sometimes months if there are no appointments sooner), and keeping them if you're ill, and even if you let them know, they don't let you reschedule without charging you again. My partner's dentist doesn't do this, or any other dentist I've ever been to! Now I'm left to find a new dentist in a hurry, only 6 weeks before my wedding... and rather regret I ever gave them that much money. Shocking customer service. As a bare minimum you should let people know. Edit: I was offered a discounted hygienist appt at short notice at their other practice, which I was grateful for, but I'm still going to have to look for a new dentist. So changed to 2 stars.

For years, dental anxiety, especially around needles, made dentist visits very stressful. My previous dentists often lacked sympathy/understanding, making things worse. However, my new dentist, Dr De Anton Paz (and the team at Hove Family Dental Practice) have been really wonderful. Her warm, reassuring, and caring approach, coupled with clear explanations throughout, has almost entirely removed my anxiety. I truly appreciate how they've made a previously dreaded experience manageable and positive. If you have dental anxiety, I highly recommend!

This is a very good dental practice to go to, my Dentist Itziar De Anton Paz is the best dentist I have ever had, she is very professional, very gentle and understands your needs, she is also very calm and assertive and has a lovely manner about her. Itziar has made my teeth so much better that I can actually smile with confidence now. Itziar's dental nurse Nadine is also a amazing person, and has always made me feel calm and welcomed, and held my hand on many occasions. The whole team at the clinic I can not fault, I actually look forward to going the dentist now. Its a hard find to find a excellent dentist who cares.

Really impressed with my first visit to get a second opinion on toothache not resolved by another surgery. Hziar the dentist and Lynne who was supporting her were kind and very knowledgeable. Mandy and Danni on reception were equally nice and very welcoming. Highly recommend them and a fraction of the price of BUPA.

Never did I think I’d look forward to going to the dentist but Itziar and her team are truly wonderful. The care I have received has been 5* every visit. Their dedication and professionalism is outstanding. If you have any fear of dentists then I highly recommend a visit to Hove Family Dental where you really will receive the most empathetic care.
