Dental Care Hereford

Avoid this dental practice - I would urge you to find an alternative dentist if possible. My partner had an appointment 5 months ago to get a crown prepped, which was then done incorrectly and needed a second appointment to correct, then a third to fit the crown itself. After waiting in a queue for his following appointment (January) for 10 minutes as the queue was so long, he was then told the dentist would not see him as he was 5 minutes late (through no fault of his own). He’s now had his next appointment cancelled and told the next available time to get his crown will be March. If you care about your teeth find an alternative dentist!

The receptionist Sophia at this dental practice is outstanding. She greeted me right away, helped me get checked in quickly, and made the whole visit feel smooth and organized. It’s clear they really care about creating a positive experience for every patient. Excellent service from the dentist Amal and his dental nurse!

I attended this practice today for a paid private treatment during an extremely hot day, and the experience was very uncomfortable due to the complete lack of air conditioning. The temperature inside the practice was unbearable. I was overheating throughout my appointment and struggled to get through the treatment despite being there for less than an hour. What was even more concerning was that the staff themselves looked visibly uncomfortable, and some appeared genuinely unwell from the heat. If I found it difficult to cope for under an hour as a patient, I can only imagine how the staff are expected to work in those conditions all day. For a practice charging private fees, I would expect a basic level of comfort and consideration for both patients and employees. The situation gave the impression that the practice is unwilling to invest in providing a safe and comfortable working environment for its staff, which is disappointing to see. The quality of care is difficult to judge fairly when the environment itself is so uncomfortable that it becomes the main thing you remember about the visit.

One phone call and was given an emergency appointment the same day last wednesday arrived in plenty of time filled out paper work and waited only to be told in reception that l had an outstanding payment this was from 2025 over twelve months ago as l have always payed on the day as soon as my treatment or check-up is completed l questioned why and was told it was a billing mistake on my visit last march 2025 was then called into my dentist only to be told by the receptionist who was dealing with this that lhad to pay the outstanding balance before l could receive any treatment .As it was an emergency appointment l payed. Also payed when my treatment was completed Why was l not informed of there mistake in 2025 .Why was l not told on my previous appointment Also l was left feeling very upset by the receptionist attitude and feel this could have been handled a lot better.Also there mistake was over 18months a go.

I saw Dr Swasthik privately as I was not satisfied by the other dentist with all respect. I had a very good experience with him. He was highly professional, attentive, and delivered outstanding work on my crown. Although there was a delay due to the crown being lost by the lab, this was clearly not the dentist’s fault and it was handled efficiently and professionally. I’m extremely pleased with the final result and the overall standard of care.
