17 Dental

I have just completed my Invisalign treatment with 17 Dental with just my whitening to go. I am so pleased with the results, and the experience has been great. I felt fully supported throughout the process, and the treatment was straightforward, transparent and effective. I am so glad I done my Invisalign with Dr Akthar. My only regret is not doing it sooner! Always a warm welcome in reception too. Thank you all!

Dr Ali was amazing, really friendly, kind and explained everything in the process. His team was also comforting and even held my hand when I braced for the injections! Really person centred.

Terrible experience. Came here twice to have 2 of my wisdom teeth removed. Both of them developed infections and dry socket. Although not necessarily the practice's fault for this, the Dr was rude and made me completely uneasy and made me feel responsible to make him be comfortable. Told him I had previous medical history relevant to the case only to be told "doesn't affect my life". When putting my hand up due to extreme pain, the response was "what now? You're making me nervous" was extremely terrible and out of touch. If I patient is nervous and has medical history, listen to them instead of making them feel responsible for making you comfortable!! Found another dentist who talked throughout the entire procedure on what they were doing, listened to concerns, explained aftercare carefully (instead of just being handed a piece of paper) and offered support. Do better, and don't make your patients responsible for making you comfortable, it's your job as the professional, not theirs!

I went to 17 dental for wisdom tooth extraction, not a happy experience. Mr Riaz applied numbing injections which didn't work so his first attempt to remove the tooth was extremely painful so he injected again and sent me to wait outside for a few minutes?? 35/40 minutes later after another wisdom tooth extraction took place I heard the dentist say .has she gone?. obviously I hadn't! I went back in and realised that he was stressed and frazzled and equally determined to get my tooth out whether painful or not it was horrible. 5 days later a rash came out on my face and my jaw became extremely painful. I contacted my own dentist who diagnosed dry socket and put me on antibiotics; it has now settled down. I never want another experience like that.

I would like to say a big thank you to DR MOHSIN O ALI and his team! My daughter was very nervous for her wisdom teeth extraction, but Dr. O Ali was very kind and calm. He explained everything in detail to my daughter. Also very patient and very professional! He is the best one we can trust!

I had to have a tooth extraction which was a daunting prospect. The dentist was amazing. He put me at ease. Thank you care and kindness.

This dentist is the best I’ve ever been too , and I’ve lived around the world , he’s lovely , listens and is very professional , and skill full , my mother comes to see him all the way from the northwest of the UK !! Long live my dentist !!
