Novel Dental Group - Gravesend Dental Surgery

I have been seeing Roshni at Novel Dental since 2019 after previous dental treatment elsewhere left me losing teeth and feeling extremely anxious and lacking confidence about visiting the dentist. Over the past seven years, she has been an exceptional dentist—always kind, professional and honest, while giving excellent advice and care. Most recently, she carried out cosmetic work on my teeth ahead of my upcoming wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I can't thank her enough for helping me smile with confidence again. There is no one else I would trust with my dental care. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience today, I went in for a clean and Kamran took very good care of me. He cleaned my teeth very very well and also gave me a lot of good advice on how to keep my teeth looking good and healthy. I’ve been going to Novel Dental Group for years now and they are the best practise I have ever been to. I would recommend everyone to go there for your dental procedures 🙂

I visited Novel Dental Group for an appointment, and Beth, the dental nurse, greeted me with a friendly "good morning" and asked how I was, which made me feel welcome right away. She was professional and friendly. As I was leaving, she said, "Have a good day," which was a lovely, friendly way to end the visit. Overall, her caring attitude made a positive difference.

Roshni and Jo have been the best! Had a lot of work done over the course of 3 years and they have always made me feel at ease.I’m so happy with my new teeth and I can finally smile with confidence! Will miss my monthly visits! Thank you again, you have been amazing!

For over many years I have been a patient at this surgery. Always had good service. The last 6 occasion I had a different dentist The final time I visited i had an extraction by another new dentist and when I complained about my swollen jaw I had for over a week i was removed from the surgery list. When I appealed that decision they did not respond I wouldn't mind but the manager of the pratice used to be my dentist. I can't make up my mind was it because of the complaint or was it to remove me because I am a nhs patient. Because of this I couldn't recommend this dentist

Avoid at all costs unless you want to waste your money! I recently moved to the area and chose this dental surgery due to its proximity, as I was experiencing significant tooth pain and required urgent attention. I booked and paid £50 for an emergency appointment with Dr Adedapo Alagbe. Unfortunately, the consultation lasted no more than two to three minutes, during which no treatment or pain relief was provided. During the appointment, I was informed that I would require either a root canal treatment or an extraction. While I understand that further treatment may be necessary, my primary concern at the time was the severe pain I was experiencing. I was very surprised and disappointed to be told that nothing could be done to help manage the pain and that I would need to book another appointment. I was also informed that the next available appointment would be over a week later, effectively leaving me to endure significant pain during that time. I found this response to be unprofessional and concerning, as I would expect patient care and pain management to be a priority during an emergency dental appointment. I also felt rushed out of the surgery, which made the experience feel dismissive and poor value for the fee paid. Due to the ongoing pain, I contacted NHS 111 and was seen elsewhere the same day. The other dentist I saw provided a temporary filling that same evening, which immediately relieved my pain, and advised that a root canal or extraction was not necessary. This was later confirmed by another dentist, who treated the issue with a deep cavity filling. I am extremely disappointed that this practice was willing to charge for an emergency appointment without offering pain relief or appropriate interim treatment, and for suggesting invasive and costly procedures that ultimately proved unnecessary. On a positive note, I would like to note that the reception staff were polite and helpful; however, the clinical care I received fell far below acceptable standards. I believe this experience warrants review, as it raises concerns regarding patient care, clinical judgement, and value for money.
