Customer Reviews
Meadowbank Dental Practice has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on over 345 reviews on Google
Attended this practice for a root canal and was seen by Natalia. She was absolutely brilliant. Before I attended many people mentioned that a root canal could be very unpleasant. I never felt that was the case with Natalia. She constantly checked that any discomfort was under control and I felt at ease throughout. She took her time and never felt she was rushed. Overall I think she did a brilliant job and would definitely recommend seeing her for this procedure!
I write this with a heavy heart as I don't like giving poor reviews but I was really disappointed with my appointment today. I wrote a glowing review just over a year ago about a dental hygienist at this practice called Lana. Unfortunately today was not good. In my mind a dental hygiene appointment should take at least 30 minutes to do a thorough job. A comprehensive cleaning involves assessing health, scaling (removing tartar), polishing, and oral hygiene education. I timed the appointment on my phone. Doing all of this properly in 14 minutes is not possible; I left feeling leftover plaque on my teeth. My appointment time was 13:30 and I was taken through at 13:41, not advised they were running late (but lunch hour was 12:30-13:30). I sat down in the chair at 13:42 and it was finished at 13:56. There was no comment on the state of my teeth and gums and no oral hygiene education. I hadn't had an appointment with a hygienist in more than a year so I knew it would not be possible to do a quick job. It's a huge amount of money to pay for an inadequate job. I gave feedback immediately afterwards and it was suggested that next time I should book an appointment with Lana. Hmm. Not really the best outcome. I can't see myself going back.
Tashil explained everything what was to happen in fine detail and then made the extraction expertly. Even when I asked him what would happen if I left it another few months his explanation made me go ahead. After it happened he explained the after effects and what to do in the days following. Felt ok but very tired yesterday but not much pain but bleeding stopped fairly quickly as I followed his instructions to not rinse my mouth for 24 hours which I carried out. Not much pain but feeling effects of the anaesthetic today. Overall a very professional job done with good advice and explanations.
Since recovery of cancer I suffered, and still do, a very dry mouth. In the past the GP and a previous dentist didn’t appear to think it was of any concern. The first time I met the dentist I am now currently under he advised me that in all those years of dry mouth my teeth hadn’t been protected because I hadn’t been producing saliva and then I felt heard. From then on, and up until now I have remained with the same dentist - he’s brilliant. He takes time to explain things, especially when I’m anxious, he doesn’t make me feel that I am wasting his time if I have any further questions, he has gone over and above with my dental treatment and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. The girls at reception are all lovely and try their best to accommodate the best time and day for your appointments. A fab dental practice, I would highly recommend.
I had a teeth cleaning with Dr. Christina Dardabouni and I was extremely satisfied. She explained everything clearly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. She also helped me with a tooth that was causing pain due to previous dental work, taking X-rays and closely monitoring the condition. She is very professional, caring, and attentive. I highly recommend her!
This dentist is by far, one of the best dentists in Scotland. My dentist, Cristina Jimenez is soooo patient with my anxieties and very friendly and helpful. She is the reason I now regularly visit the dentist. The other dentists are great too and the reception staff are very helpful and friendly too! Putting you at your ease! I Had past anxiety due to a bad experience with a dentist as a child. My fear was so bad, I hadn’t visited a dentist for over 5 years. Popping painkillers for toothache rather than visit a dentist. This dental practice is a Godsend, I would thoroughly recommend if they have any space. Thanks to ALL the team, especially Christina. 🦷😁
Lana the Dental Hygienist is excellent. She is thorough, knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. She always talks you through the whole process and gives you tailored advice at the end. On a previous visit, I mentioned one problem and she suggested two solutions, gave me samples and they worked!
