I came to check out Edinburgh Gums and Teeth and chat about Invisalign a year ago because the practice had great reviews and it's very close to my office. I'd been disappointed with how much my teeth had shifted since my early twenties and wanted to do something about it. When I walked into the practice though, I was immediately impressed with how professional and patient-focused they were. Nothing like my dentist in Fife. Dr. Axel and all of the hygienists and assistants are absolutely fantastic - so thorough, so experienced and so happy to give you honest answers. I went ahead with the Invisalign treatment and am so happy with my results, that I've decided to stay on as a patient because I haven't met a better dentist in Scotland since moving here eight years ago and I don't think I will. Highly recommended for a happy healthy smile 😁

Came here with a complex emergency issue after losing faith in my NHS dentist, and they were wonderful and communicative, Maxine immediately made me feel heard and arranged for an emergency appointment, going as far as calling me back when there was a cancellation, in case I wanted to move it forward by a few hours (I did). I felt very safe with Axel, who was methodical and patient in answering all of my questions, and took great care to help me understand and explore all options (even ones that involved going elsewhere for experimental treatment) and the potential risks and advantages for my specific situation. I'll update this review after the treatment is completed, but so far, it's been great! Update: I couldn't be happier. The team is amazing and I feel so heard and well looked after! Update again: My whole treatment is finished now (it's been multiple months). I am so happy to be with EGT! Endless patience, great atmosphere, and attention to detail 🙂 if you've had bad experiences with dentist taking advantage of you, or trying to sell you things without explanation, you'll feel safe and sound here! I had my Invisalign treatment done at Edinburgh Gums & Teeth, and I’m very happy with the results. The change was really noticeable, and the whole process felt clear and well-guided. I want to especially highlight Celia, who supported me from the very first day until the end of the treatment. She was always on top of everything — scheduling my appointments, explaining each step of the process, and even helping me with English translation whenever I needed it. Her attention and dedication made everything much easier. I also want to thank the rest of the team for the great work they did: professional, detail-oriented, and always attentive. I definitely recommend Edinburgh Gums & Teeth.

So I had a filling that was done by different practice that was giving me problems, particularly when diving - I think there was trapped air in the filling. I went to G&T to get it looked at - they looked at it, did some tests and an xray and confirmed there was likely air in the filling. AND instead of sending me away for another appointment later they just re-did the filling there and then - such a life saver because I'm heading abroad to go diving again later this week. Can't recommend enough - extremely professional and efficient. 💖

I thought I’d write a review after a year of coming here. My gums have improved massively on account of this dentist (and my own willingness, which they encourage). Maxine is a wonderful and I always feel a warm welcome when I come. Their teeth cleaning leaves you with the best feeling in the world. P.s I shout out to Leslie too, we always have a good laugh.

Axel and the team look after you so well throughout the whole process with regular check ins and having the whitening and hygienist appointments included in the treatment has made my teeth so white and clean! Really happy with overall experience from start of Invisalign journey to composite bonding. Really nice team overall, Maxine always havin a chat before each appointment-really down to earth and genuinely nice person. Axel and his team were very good today for my treatment , nothing was too much even though I was being a bit awkward. Wanted to ensure I was happy before I left. A big thing for me was no hidden costs. Overall a very happy customer
