Just had my first experience here. And I am not a fan of a trip to the dentist. But I was impressed by the friendly and professional approach by everyone I come in contact with. And put very much at ease by the dentist who looked after me. Very impressed
I have been a client at this practice for years. I recently undertook dental implant surgery with Dr Nikhil Sharma (not available on NHS, so it was costly). I cannot recommend Nikhil highly enough, for his professionalism, his expertise, his friendly approach, and for including me and keeping me informed during each step of the process. Which could also have been painful at times, or so others had told me, but my experience was pain-free and Nikhil and his team have my eternal gratitude.
Since new management, this dental surgery (dentist)has personally hindered my oral wellbeing and health.Bought a tooth guard to prevent my teeth grinding while asleep. After a few weeks the tooth guard lost its efficency.Dentist advised he would need to speak to Dental practice manager to ascertain next step.I clearly advised I needed a new tooth guard as my teeth were wearing down and this was affecting the way I was eating.I had a chip and fracture in my front tooth, but dentist advised he would refer me to Dental hospital and "they will fix all your teeth and you will see consultants who will sort your teeth."he also advised me that he did not want to touch my teeth because if it did not work out,he wouldn't want me to get angry with him!!!!I finally saw consultant and dentists at dental hospital who referred me back to the saud dentist, stating everything I needed done to my teeth.I recieved a copy of their correspondence ,so I am aware of their recommendations to this dentist.Fast forward 8 months later and still waiting ,plus still do not have a replacement tooth guard. I have now lodged a formal complaint,as I feel this is just substandard treatment and well below the service I would expect from a professional dentist.
Was seen to for an emergency extraction , was quick and as painless as possible, however I was offered treatments I will never be able to afford off the bat. Have now been up three times and I keep getting charged for it . I think after the 3rd or 4th visit -especially when I’m following the advice of the dentist I shouldn’t be getting charged anymore. I’m predicting i have to go again for another appointment . Which will be my fourth visit - the staff are quite pleasant and welcoming. I have been a patient there since the early 90s. I can’t fault them any other way but that.
I am waiting on a call from them been over a week but can't wait to go there god bless all
Very first dentist appointment today for my little boy and it was such a lovely experience (especially since I’m petrified myself). It was such a calm and welcoming environment from the moment we stepped inside, every member of staff we seen greeted us with a smile and waved to my little boy (also commenting on his toy car which he loved). I felt so at ease talking with the dentist Lisa, she had such a gentle approach towards my little boy and gave me some advice towards his dental care. We ended our visit with a sticker from Milli 🙂 All round great experience.
My husband and I were patients with Ian Robertson for numerous years, during which time, we received excellent, honest and friendy service from Ian, his associates and staff. It certainly wasn't the case when the business changed hands. The new dentist was not in the least interested in building a relationship with either of us, instead, the focus was firmly on how much money he could charge. Needless to say a change of practice was sought by us.
