Had a very large abscess treated by Simon Manian and then a new crown, supported by Mike Ainsworth, owner who is a whizz with technology, he milled an in-house long term temporary crown to allow healing to be assessed. Simon’s manner is light hearted , but professional, he really knows his stuff, and is very good at giving injections comfortably, ably assisted by Darcey /Phil, the dental nurses. Highly recommended.

I had been recommended / referred to the Dental Referral Centre by my local dentist due to the dental extraction being complicated. When there isn't enough natural tooth structure above the gum line to grasp with standard forceps, a surgical extraction is performed using specialized instruments and techniques. I was apprehensive as I knew it was a difficult extraction - however everything from start to finish - was superb - from my first telephone call from the Dental Referral Centre after being referred to the day after extraction with a call to ask if all was ok. At every touch point - the service was excellent. I would also like to thank Dr Mike Ainsworth for his professionalism and making the patient at ease throughout. He made a complicated extraction seem easy, and also offered the follow up to consider for an implant at a later date after the area has healed. Also thank you to the Dental Nurse - Phillip Riley - who assisted in the process and for going though the after treatment care. Without hesitation I would highly recommend the Dental Referral Centre.

Following a referral from my own dentist back in 2021 for restorative treatment, this dental practice has changed my life. I cannot praise the whole team enough. In particular a shout out to Mike Ainsworth, the implantologist. He has the most calm composure and is the ultimate professional and perfectionist. He made me feel relaxed and reassured me every step of the way during my treatment. I now have the best smile! Thank you so much. The nursing team are to be commended too as they are so friendly and show empathy throughout. Also walking through the doors you are welcomed by the most friendliest reception and admin team. They greet you with a smile and help you to feel comfortable, and they have the best waiting room!! To top it they have a brilliant radio to listen to, this adds to the fabulous decor!! Thanks to all of you for everything!!! xx

Referred here by my usual private dentist, had my mind blown and eyes opened by the thoroughness and standard of care here. Came in thinking a root canal and two teeth out, thanks to the CT scanner they have and the skill of the endodontist working here. It transpires the work I actually need is much more conservative than first thought. Big shout-out to Simon and his assistant for their professionalism and friendly attitude which put me at ease straight away as I was riddled with anxiety. Would 100% recommend this place. Looking forward to completing my treatment and returning to full health. Practice is clean, tidy and a pleasant place to be, waiting area very relaxing and the dental suites kitted out with the latest gear. Consultation somewhat pricey but worth every penny, I expect my visit here has saved me a pretty penny and discomfort going forward. Cannot reiterate how impressive this place is, got me in at the last second before a holiday too.

I came , with imtrepdation, for root canal treatment and saw Marian who clearly explained what she would do and answered all of my questions. I cannot ever remember any visit to a dentist being so pain free! The treatment was amazing , l didn't even feel the anesthetic needle, Marian is a true professional and l only wish she could be my regular dentist, l had no pain throughout the proceedure and no soreness afterwards. All dentist visits should be this way. I highly recommend Marian and all associated staff who made the visit such a good experience.

Over the last 68 years of dental visits and extensive work I have finally found at Stephen Godfrey's practice an environment which is relaxing, friendly and provides expert dental treatment. Dr Michael Ainsworth has fitted an implant, removed a large abscess and sort out my bite. I am now pain free and my bite is perfect. All work and my questions were fully explained. I am delighted with the outcome and have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

I can't speak highly enough for all at this practice! From the wonderful receptionists to the nurses, hygienist, and dentists! I had an awful time with a few teeth - one in particular, and had lots of pain, couldn't eat properly, and to be honest it got me down mentally. Every time I called the practice they were always very accommodating, friendly and professional. Thank you so much for your efforts, and hard work. I will forever be thankful that I was under your care!
