Genix Healthcare Dental Clinic (Tickhill)

REPORTED TO GDC Attended a check up with Izzy - 'very rough treatment'. He managed to dislodge one filling and was hammering on a tooth saying 'does that hurt'?! The next lady after me cancelled her appointment immediately saying 'he is barbaric'! I was booked in the next week with Bob for the dislodged filling. To my dismay, my appointment was mixed up and Bob had to fit me in. He obviously wasn't happy about this and lost his temper when I enquired about additional work. I (as a health professional) asked that he didn't speak to me this way and his reply was 'I'll speak to you in whichever way I like! Bob has now received a waring from The GDC for 'inappropriate behaviour'. There are much better Private Dental Practices around Doncaster

Always very knowledgeable and supportive care and treatment from Bob and the team. They have always advised professionally the most appropriate procedure for my needs. Will only carry out work that's required, not simply to generate income for the practice.

From arriving at reception where I was greeted happily they are always so friendly . To walking into the dentists room where Bob and Fay put me at ease . As far as I can remember that is the first tooth I’ve had removed in adult hood . Having had an infection which caused an abscess a few weeks ago I was happy for the tooth to come out . But was a bit apprehensive. Bob soon put all my anxieties to one side . The tooth was removed and came out in one piece . So all was good . Thankyou
