Pennypot Dental Deal

Want to share a HUGE thank you to your younger receptionist and the exceptional Dr Syed Ahmed for seeing me as an emergency last Friday while visiting Deal. The receptionist was so understanding and caring and put me at ease straight away both on the phone and when I attended the practice. This practice for me was an excellent example of practicing trauma informed care. Dr Ahmed treated me professionally, explained everything concisely and in an understandable way. He was gentle and mindful of how I was reacting. The dental nurse was also wonderful too. I was in and out quickly and felt safe and had exceptional care and was all very easy and pain free. Thank you.

I was given a very thorough examination by Tazeen, with practical advice and guidance about what future work might need to be done. The practice itself is extremely nice, clean, relaxing and efficient. The staff are all friendly and the dentists seem more thorough and experienced than those at most other practices I’ve tried. They did not try to hard-sell me anything either (brushes, paste, mouthwashes), which has happened in previous practices. I give Pennypot Dental in Deal 10/10 and I’m very pleased to have joined the practice.

Dental appointments are rarely pleasant experiences, especially when they involve injections and lots of drilling but I have to say that my recent visit with Dr Syeda and lovely nurse Aimee was not at all unpleasant. They are a very impressive team that are very good at what they do. They took great pains to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure and fully explained the process as it progressed. I was made to feel as relaxed as one could be in a dentists chair. The end result was shown to me through photographs which indicated the before and after of the procedure and I have to say it was a perfect job, and pain free. It's not like I'm itching to go back but I was very impressed by the skill and friendliness.

I’ve recently had treatment with Dr Ahmed and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, never rushes, and makes you feel completely at ease throughout the whole appointment. Him and his nurse, Alysha, are such a lovely team — both so calm, reassuring and professional, which makes all the difference if you’re someone who feels a bit nervous at the dentist. The quality of his work is brilliant and I’m so happy with the results. Genuinely the best dentist in town!

I found Dr Syed's calm and friendly manner put me at ease. He explained everything he intended to do and I felt confident in his care. He gave advice on actions I should take to avoid future problems. I was seen on time and the receptionists and his nurse were polite and helpful. Very happy with the service.

I attended Pennypot Dental surgery on 01/04/26 for a tooth extraction. I was very nervous but Dr Syed’s Seema was very understanding, put me at my ease and together with her nurse Angela made the experience much better than I had anticipated. I want to thank Dr Seema very much for her kindness and concern.
