Darwenside Dental Practice

I visited Darwenside Dental after my two year old son accidentally headbutted me and chipped three of my teeth. As you can imagine, I was extremely anxious and concerned, so I rang first thing in the morning hoping to get an appointment. I was seen and diagnosed the very same day, and was given an appointment to restore my smile and help ease the anxiety I was feeling. Millie on reception was absolutely superb. Not only did she empathise with how I was feeling, but she also went out of her way to ensure I was seen as quickly as possible. The practice itself is fantastic, but the reception team—especially Millie—are second to none. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would. Highly recommended.

Daughter had an appointment at 11.30 its now 11.55 and still sat in the waiting room no sign of her being called in shes already paranoid about the dentist and making people wait well after their appointment time just makes things worse! Absolutely no manners what so ever from anyone in this building dentist dr Romina Mir Eshghi no manners and extremely obnoxious and rude as is her hygienist, this surgery has gone seriously down hill since dr kier left its asif they just don't care anymore 😕 I will be changing Daughter to another dentist that actually cares about appointment times and patients care if a patient came i 25 mins late for an appointment they'd be taken off the books its always 1 rule for 1 and 1 for another Absolutely shameful to be treating patients this way and after hearing several other complaints whilst ive been sat here waiting its no wonder the reviews have gone down to 1 stars other than over 3 years ago any recent reviews are all 1 star, this will be the last time I make my daughter sit here waiting 25 mins after her appointment time I will.be changing her to a professional dentist in the area because this 1 is absolutely useless I will be putting a complaint into the NHS and taking the time out to do the survey on the staffs rudeness and waiting times here

Had a really positive experience with Mohammed today. What a lovely guy. I can’t say I love going to the dentist but he really put me at my ease

I was in for my 6 month checkup yesterday and Millie couldn’t be more helpful! She went above and beyond to go up to the surgery room for my details to ensure I wasn’t left waiting to book in my follow up appointment. Thank you!

Had an appointment at Darwenside, just wanted to say a big thank you to Alman & Maya who treated me with care & compassion, making sure I was calm & comfortable throughout my treatment.

Absolutely useless went in for a checkup needed a filling ASAP as it wad close to the nerve and they said make an appointment on your way out. Wouldn't let me make an appointment and said we will do it. They made an appointment in 6 months time for another check up! Tried to call them for the past fortnight and the phone is always unavailable! I give up going somewhere else. I might get in touch with my bank over this, it's basically fraud at this point!

Twice they've had to cancel his appointment. One end of November and last week on the 13th they called before 9am to cancel his appointment at 9.15. As he was about to set off.  I needed to ring him straight away to tell him not to leave. So I tried to call them back as soon as the line opened and I was 17th the queue so I requested a call back so i could rearrange his appointment. The call back never happened.  We then get a letter dated 13th saying he's overdue his regular checkup and in danger of being deregistered. Today he tried calling, waiting to be answered but when he got down to 2nd in the queue he were told you were experiencing a busy line and try later. Cut off.  So he called straight away, 6th in the queue and requested a call back. After an hour or so waiting he decided to go to the reception which was completely empty. 2 receptionist available still no return call. They say sorry there's something wrong with the phones. So the phones have been faulty for a week 🤔 They gave him an appointment for the next morning You cancelled both appointments then send a threatening letter is very upsetting
