Dr Balaie is terrific. I am always a nervous wreck going to any dentist due to a childhood bad experience. She is kind, listens to my concerns and reassures me. Her gentle touch, has made it a lot easier for me to go to a dentist. Now I do not dread going for a checkup. I can not recommend her more highly, I would not go to anyone else! Her staff are also great, Chloe (hygienist) is thorough and equally gentle.

I cannot recommend Dr. Mahsa Balaie at Ashdown Dental Practice highly enough. I have been a patient for several years, and the consistently excellent care I’ve received has always impressed me — but my most recent experience truly exceeded all expectations. After recently having an accident that resulted in me needing two crowns fitted, Dr. Balaie was absolutely outstanding. She was calm, reassuring, and incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain every step clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Balaie is not only extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled, but also genuinely kind and compassionate. Her attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome is exceptional. The crowns look completely natural and feel perfect — I couldn’t be happier with the result. So grateful for their help with a hideous toothache. I went in on Tuesday afternoon. Managed to get an emergency appointment for Thursday morning. Jordan ( the dentist) was very calm, kept me relaxed. I am not a good patient and terrible with needles. He made an assessment, took an x-ray, talked through the procedure and explained any potential problems... He was very proficient at administering the numbing injection. No hideous taste, I could talk normally; with no dribbling 👍😂 Wobbly, diseased tooth was removed intact with no drama. One very happy patient!!! 🤗❤️

I cannot rate this practice enough. Mahsa and the team have been superb throughout. I am not the easiest of patients as I have OCD which has been crippling over the years. Mahsa made me feel so at ease and not at all silly and she understood what I was trying to achieve with my smile. Mahsa was so meticulous working with the lab to get my teeth as near to perfect as she could and she did not disappoint. Ive used Ashdown Dental for years and they've always been great and very helpful. However i have now been told I haven't been removed from the nhs list, but it is physically impossible to book an nhs appointment. How does that work?? My only option is to pay to have appointments privately which I cannot currently afford. Why do I pay taxes again? Its not like having dental treatment on the NHS is free anyway?!

I have a fear of dentists, but since I have been to ashdown dental practice I have felt really comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and they make sure that you are relaxed. The dentist and hygienist are very professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

I felt the Dentist used to be good here when it was NHS owned and then when they've gone private they keep upping their prices and the dentists seem to point out so many things to try and grab money from the patients. All before with the NHS dentists it didn't used to be an issue but its sad to say that they are trying to grab every penny out of you
