Valley Dental Practice

Had my first visit to Valley Dental Practice yesterday. Had not been to a dentist in ages due to my sheer terror of a dentist visit. However, from entering the building and being greeted by the receptionists to the actual appointment I was pleasantly surprised. I was made to feel at ease and comfortable and everything that was being done was explained to me. The building is spotlessly clean and welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend this dentists especially if like me you are nervous. Thank you to all.

After a lifetime of horrible experiences I could have won an award as the most frightened patient ever. My crown broke over 2 years ago and I couldn't bring myself to visit a dentist at all. I was recommended Valley Dental Practice and couldn't be happier. From the very first phone call I felt listened to. Everyone from reception to the dentist were warm, welcoming and kind. The dentist and the nurse were super friendly, the dentist really understood how frightened I was and calmly talked me through everything he was going to do. After the initial assessment my treatment plan was broken into 2 visits, the idea of both terrified me but I can honestly say I never felt a thing. I felt confident that if I needed to stop the dentist for any reason he would stop immediately. After my first visit I cried out of sheer relief, the second visit still scared me and I walked out feeling a bit wobbly from my own adrenaline but I already know I will be going back in 6 months and for ever more just to keep on top of things. I thoroughly recommend this dental practice. I cant praise them highly enough. Thank you for changing my mind about dentists I will never ever go anywhere else.

As usual, my six-monthly hygienist cleaning and advice review was most positive and helpful. My check with Mr Maxwell Botha, my dentist, was very reassuring and medically thorough. This included updating my dental records with current mouth X Rays. Their approach of a broader medical check, such as tongue and jaw closure functioning has developed much since several decades ago. Our receptionist and other colleagues were very helpful and constructive. On my latest visit, I'm delighted to leave an excellent review.

Brilliant from start to finish. As someone nervous of the dentist everyone was so kind and calming, really made me feel welcome and comfortable being there. Kind, friendly and such a family feel to the practice.

Absolutely brilliant Dentist. I dropped by on the off chance of getting an appointment at the surgery. I was concerned about my teeth and was worried that I may loose a front tooth. Not only did I get an appointment, I got one right away. I got my precious front tooth repaired and now I can smile again with confidence. As someone who cannot sit in a dentist chair. I went to valley dental practice and they was amazing with me I now do not have anxiety to go in the door. I felt safe and welcomed from the minute I walked though the door. They are all amazing and even ended up having a tooth out without sedation which I never thought was possible. I have now found my go to dentist. My kids now laugh when I say I’m excited to go and see the dentist I have never been like that in my 39 years and so happy to have found them. I have been a patient of DR Botha for many years - the whole practice is so friendly & accommodating (& spotlessly clean) They always make you feel welcome & looked after - I always leave with a smile DR Botha is a rare find - a dentist who listens & always gives the best advice & doesn’t jump into unnecessary treatment unless you need it - never once have I felt any pain or discomfort during or after treatment Thank you once again
