Brynteg Dental Practice

My dentist Amani and her dental nurses (I can’t remember their names -sorry!) are amazing. My teeth have suffered due to my having a complex injury and pain condition which has impacted the care of my teeth. Amani and the nurses are so kind and caring, and am so appreciative of all the help that they are giving me to look after my teeth. 🙏 On top of this, the dentist Olena and her nurse helped my toddler with his first proper dental visit the last week. They were so kind, friendly and fun with him, he thought it was a great experience! 😊🙏 Last but not least, Reception staff are always helpful, informative and friendly which I appreciate loads too. 🙏

I would not use this Dentist again. I was informed that this Dentist was going Private. Myself and my family have had several cancellations on occasions it’s been a few months in advance before we can see a Dentist because we were under the NHS. The Reception don’t answer the phone when you call. Personally me and my family don’t think the Reception team are that friendly. I had on going Treatment but they now can’t continue under the NHS. Even though it was their fault with all the Cancellations. I’m very surprised with all the positive comments on here. I was also informed by a member of staff that my Treatment would continue under the NHS prices. I was informed that they closed the old treatment down and a new plan was set up. At no time did the practice tell me that the old treatment file had been closed or did they make an attempt to get me treated before the deadline. My advice to any would be to find another Dentist and speak to people that go to the Dentist to see if they recommend the Dentist. I certainly don’t recommend this one.

Had a routine check up, scale and polish. Need two fillings and Veswar my dentist was very thorough in explaining about what kind of filling I need in each tooth and why. Also explained about various aspects of my teeth, ie my teeth grinding issue and explained the long term implications if I do not wear a mouth guard at night. Also the importance of flossing. Cannot recommend her nor her assistant enough. Reception staff were very polite and efficient. Overall, the whole practice is very well run and cant knock them at all and so would highly recommend.

Had our first appointment since switching to the new membership scheme and the experience was noticeably better than previous visits. Although I do now have to have some work done (nothing too drastic or massively expensive luckily) I am hoping that the twice yearly check ups vs every 2 years as was previous will prevent any further major issues from arising in the future. All the staff and dentist were extremely pleasant and overall it seemed like a much better environment for patients and staff.

Nelson is a brilliant dentist and puts you at ease never rushes you and explains everything. I was so grateful for an emergency appointment and the treatment I received was excellent. Of course my only grip is the cost but that is how it seems to be these days to get any treatment anywhere.

The visit to Brynteg dental surgery was very good. I was seen on time and a plan was made for some minor work and an appointment booked. I was presented with a detailed breakdown of the work involved and pricing information. This was very reasonable, due to much of the work being covered within the monthly membership scheme. The dentist who I see each time I visit is very competent and I have never experienced any pain or discomfort. I would strongly reccomend this dental practice to anyone.

The Dentist was brilliant with my little girl And very child friendly. The Dental nurse was also friendly and welcoming. My little girl was made to feel comfortable and is not afraid of the Dentist. The two blonde receptionists are very kind and helpful, but the dark haired one is a dragon and makes me feel very uncomfortable
