The Courtyard Dental Care

The dentist is almost never a pleasant experience, associated with discomfort, pain etc. The Courtyard practice is the exception, you will be looked after, accomodated and literally, leave with a better smile. Thank you to all the staff, I really appreciate what you do.

Only just changed to this practice. Staff are very friendly, dentists are very informative. Best practice I have been to in a very long time!

I went today for an emergency appointment and I was nervous to say the least. I have a huge fear of the dentist and haven’t been in 4 years but, my experience at Courtyard completely put my mind at ease. The receptionist is kind and helpful and sent me all the forms I needed to complete prior to my visit. I was seen by Ella and she was AMAZING and listening to my fears and explaining what she was doing and the sensations that I would feel. This has honestly been a revolutionary experience for me and the kindness and empathy of Ella has given me the push I needed to get myself on the waitlist for a proper dentist of my own. Rude receptionists, a horrible petty practice manager and at least one incompetent dentist with zero empathy. Glad my whole family left.

My son is an NHS patient at this address and boy does it make a difference in the service. Despite the fact appointments are scheduled six months in advance, the practice constantly change them last minutes. The doctors clearly look at patients as second thoughts and trying to get an appointment is like trying to guess the magical word to open a secret gate.. latest one: my son final tooth is strongly coming through toward the back of the mouth but the milk tooth it is suppose to be replaced is not moving. Ask for an appointment to check whether the tooth does not need to be taken off. Was told no because the doctor has seen my son a month prior… and so? The doctor might have missed it or the tooth is coming at its own pace which might not accord to the practice appointment schedule. I ask whether this treatment was due to the fact that my son is a NHS patience and was told no, absolutely not. Sure!

I am a very scared patient but always feel so relaxed and looked after when I attend my appointments. The receptionist is always smiling with a really friendly aura about her x the dentist and the nurses are always happy and very caring and friendly. I would recommend this surgery to anyone x
