Cedars Dental Cardiff

I joined Cedars Dental Cardiff just over a year ago and I could not be more happy about this decision. After having quite bad experiences with other dentists, I was apprehensive and starting to doubt the industry. But Cedars personnel completely changed my mind. The practice is fantastic in all respects. The customers receive amazing service at reception, with welcoming and friendly staff. I am being looked after by Dr Christopher Truman and Dr Steven Pan, who are both always very nice, calm, attentive and ready to advise on what needs to be done and how best to do it in a way that suits me and my financial capability. I had a complex issue which has been effectively fixed, checked on and managed. I feel that I am receiving care without the pressure or judgement, and that I can trust my dentists at Cedars. Finally, I must add one more thing which may be important to all parents. I brought my teenage daughter to Cedars too. I don't know any children who like going to the dentist, and she needed help. Dr Truman was very kind, really listened to her and helped her with an ongoing problem. I am confident that my daughter is in good hands. I could not recommend them more! Best Regards, Veronika

I’ve been to a lot of dentists, having had to move many times over the years, and I have to say this practice is hands down the best I’ve been to. On arrival I was warmly welcomed by their delightful receptionist Carmen (sunshine in human form), who kindly explained things and went out of their way to deliver excellent service. After a very short wait, I was then met with a fabulous dental experience led by Dr Emily Fell and a brilliant nurse (unfortunately I didn’t get the nurse’s name but she was fantastic) — both did a 10/10 job, were super professional and friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I’m moving to Bristol soon but I’m going to come back — why bother switching practices when I already found the best …? Really can’t recommend it highly enough to any prospective patients. I couldn’t recommend this dental practice more. I contacted them after experiencing uncomfortable pain in my teeth and gums, and although there was initially a waiting list, they assured me they would offer an earlier appointment if one became available. Within two days, they contacted me with a slot, and the whole process was quick, easy, and reassuring. The treatment was explained clearly in a way I could understand, and I’m very pleased to say the pain has now gone. A professional, caring, and efficient service from start to finish.

Excellent practice. Dr Chris is always helpful, professional, and offers clear, honest advice. I initially came for Invisalign, but have since had a few additional treatments and have been equally impressed each time. Carmen at reception is also lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommend.

I’m a nervous patient and needed to have extensive cosmetic treatment. Every step of the way Nitin, Louise and the whole team were fantastic.My options were explained to me clearly and patiently so I could think about everything before proceeding. My treatment was professional and high quality, but most importantly I was treated with kindness and understanding so I was able to overcome my anxiety. I highly recommend them!!

What can I say! Chris and his team are amazing! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality dental treatment and first class care. I went to see Chris to have a tooth out and have an implant fitted (the extraction was considered complex so my current dentist recommended I see a private specialist for that and the implant). After the extraction, we discussed straightening my teeth before having the implant so I ended up with having braces fitted. I had my braces off before Christmas and I am extremely happy with the result (and I've had so many compliments!). From start to finish Chris was caring, kind, and he completely puts you at ease during consultations and treatment. He is honestly the kindest dentist I've ever been to. I can honestly say I had no pain having the complex extraction, and no issues at all with my braces. Thank you again 🙂

Can not recommend cedars and Dr Chris Truman enough! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time due to nasty accident starting a phobia of dentists.. from the very beginning the reception staff made me feel less anxious and the second I walked in to the room Dr Truman was friendly, welcoming and non judgemental about why I hadn’t been to a dentist in so long! He talked me through what needed doing step by step and my anxiety immediately disappeared. I’ve been twice now and can honestly say I don’t feel any anxiety about my next appointment. Can’t thank him enough! Definitely recommend for anyone who is nervous of the dentist!
