The Bristol Dental Practice

This is a high quality, city centre dental practice that has been trading for decades. I'd say they're one of Bristol's top practices. I've been coming here since 2011 because my dentist and hygienist are empathic, and I'm a sensitive patient. The reception team do a great job of managing the patients, especially Linda, who has worked here since before they invented the world wide web (only joking Linda). They seem to have a low staff turnover at the practice, which benefits us patients. I tend to park at The Grove, and stroll across the square. I've never had parking difficulties.

Finally feel my teeth are being looked after properly. Staff are lovely. Very thorough appointments compared to experiences ive had before. Due to bad erosion i had to have all my teeth built up with bonding, which I was quite nervous about as I hate the numbing sensation. Mariya did an amazing job. This was split over 3x2hr appointments and she was caring, patient and is so thorough, so the process was absolutely fine. My teeth are finally healthier and more protected, as well as looking better. It cost a lot but less than I had been quoted on the NHS previously actually and was made much more manageable by splitting the appointments apart. I am lucky to not need to do one, but if I didnt have the money all at once a payment plan would have been well worth doing to have healthier teeth. The reception staff are always super friendly and try their best to fit my appointments in at good times as I have a 2 hour drive also. The hygienist also always leave my teeth feeling much more clean compared to previous experiences elsewhere. Very grateful for the treatment and glad I came here.

I had my wisdom tooth removed here this morning, and found the practice to be very lovely. The receptionists were friendly and kind (and I'd love to throw out a special mention to Helen for helping me get dental care and an appointment in the first place, especially when it's been so hard for me to find a dentist). The dental staff were also wonderful, very caring and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this practice 🥰

This practice is truly exceptional. Each member of the team is incredibly welcoming and warm, and they consistently greet patients with a genuine smile, demonstrating their commitment to patient care. I haven't found a better dental practice in the UK. The facility is well-equipped, and the dentists, hygienists, dental nurses, and receptionists are all highly qualified, providing outstanding customer service. I genuinely treat every visit to be a SPA day for my teeth. Thank you, BDP, you are indeed the best!

My partner and I have been to this dental practice several times now, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. The whole team is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. James, our dentist, is absolutely amazing — skilled, gentle, and someone we trust completely. He always takes the time to explain things clearly and puts us at ease every visit. We genuinely love this place and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for high‑quality dental care with a personal touch.

My second visit to this dentist practice after being recommended by a friend of mine. I had an appointment with hygienist Kaitlin and nurse Susan who were both great, felt very relaxed in their presence. Kaitlin was thorough and explained everything, including how to keep on top of cleaning & flossing. The fab girls at reception - Amina and Michelle - were super friendly and welcoming. Thanks all! All of the staff at Bristol Dental Practice are lovely but a big thank you has to go to Dr Mariya Godsafe! I’ve just come back from my appointment and I can’t speak highly enough about Dr Mariya - the best Dentist we have both ever had and if you have wrinkles she will help you look 10 years younger!
