Village Dental Centre

I visited the dental practice for my routine hygienist appointment and saw Maria, who i have not met before. I can honestly say that this was the best hygienist visit I have ever had at any dental practice. Maria and her colleague were extremely welcoming, kind and friendly. Maria fully explained how she liked to work in an engaging manner, and she provided a wealth of useful and practical advice on caring for my teeth. She worked efficiently with care, even helping me through some of the more uncomfortable elements of the treatment with breathing exercises to take my mind off it. I have never had this level of care before and it was really effective and appreciated!

They have a reputation for being gold diggers, but that maybe a common feature of that industry. However, the go out their way one the 'Pain Free' front, and how much does a dab of Bonjela cost anyway, 2 minutes, 4 minutes at the most? Shane I have found to be great. Dentists only need to work a couple of days a week, and the whole thing in a money making business. So don't expect NHS, and assume you are going to pay - my partner pays half as much a month as I do, but has to find and pay for parking in central brighton so has to use the bus, not so here. If you have a busy life that this place is great, if you are scared on needles, then fear not. The hygienist is great and the dental care planning is great. Their unique selling point is pain free dentistry and that's what they do well.

Such a great Dentist!! Karuna is professional and kind. I really don’t like the dentist but this place changed my whole opinion. I would recommend using this practice and so would my teeth.

I’ve always had a great experience at the village dental centre. Dr Karuna had always been very kind, and kept me informed. All the work I have had done has been excellent and they have helped me fix previous dentistry that was not to the same standard. Costs and treatment plans have always been clear and straightforward.

I had such a wonderful experience with dental hygienist Maria Padin. She did an absolutely amazing job—thorough, professional, and so gentle throughout the entire process. Maria made me feel completely safe and comfortable, which really helped ease any nerves I had. Her warm personality and caring approach made my visit a truly positive one. I left not only with a brighter smile but also feeling genuinely happy about the care I received. I highly recommend Maria for anyone looking for a hygienist who goes above and beyond!

After approx 55 years of being traumatised by dentists that have no compassion or patience, I finally found a dental practice that I felt comfortable with. It took time, but Shane & his fantastic team made me feel at ease & able to conquer my sheer fear of being in the presence of a dentist. The staff even went to the bother of opening windows & using air sprays to help with my uncomfortable senses of the smell of a dental practice. This really meant a lot. After discussions of what treatment I needed, I wasn’t rushed into making any decisions & was totally put at ease about the sedation I requested. After a past experience, this was something I was absolutely petrified of, but Shane reassured me that everything would be ok. It was, & now I feel so confident talking to people & I’ve got my smile back. Thanks team. 👍🏻😁
