BRIGHTON WHITE

Horrendous! My previous appointment was cancelled without warning and when I rang today to get another appointment they told me that I hadn’t been in a year (because they had cancelled my 6 month check up!)so I was no longer a patient there. They then said I could make a private appointment there but why on earth would I do that at the worst rated dentist in town that had just without warning dumped me as a patient?! I have now joined a closer, better-rated dentist who I am more willing to give my money too. So sad, this used to be a good dentist but this service is shocking and money grabbing!

Just visited this practice with a sharp broken tooth. Phoned this morning at got an appointment this afternoon. Lovely patient dentist and equally lovely dental nurse. I am incredibly nervous about visits to the dentist but they totally put me at ease and explained everything to me.

I had given the practice 5 stars as I always found them great and Mr Jafari is a lovely and patient dentist but after my recent visit I will have to amend this to 1 star. I visited the practice for a check up and found the cost of my treatment had doubled. After further investigation ( I had to visit the practice as no one replied to my emails or answered the phone in over a week) I found that had been removed as an NHS patient with absolutely no warning. I was simply told by the practice manager that they were not doing NHS anymore as it takes too long to be refunded. I appreciate the NHS is in a mess but they were given plenty of opportunities to give me prior warning but took none of them. Not even an email communication. I was covertly mis-sold a denplan agreement but no one could be bothered to explain I was coming off the NSH and a filling would increase in price from £70 to £220. Now I understand all the negative feedback and I will not be returning for treatment here.

I couldn't attend my appointments for a short while as I couldn't justify the cost (though had been since the pandemic a couple times) - also couldn't justify taking the day off to get to the appointment as I work in a different town and rely on public transport. Got around to being in a position to justify the cost of an appointment and book time off to do so and found out via phone i'd been taken off the NHS register, but they could offer me a private appointment any time. (As if I can justify private costs if i've only just justified NHS costs/time off). No letter received informing me i'd be taken off the books, no warning. Finding out by phone when i've made contact is really unprofessional. The lady on the phone was very matter of fact and cold and not keen to do anything to assist beyond tell me she can offer private only. Last time I was there, the reception staff were bad-mouthing the owner of the practice by the sounds of it too. Overall, shoddy feel.

I had an extract of a wisdom tooth done at this dentist some time back. He was very thorough at making sure all of the tooth was removed so as not to cause me further problems of discomfort in the future. I fully understand why the service has not been up to it's usual standard over the past 18 months, seeing as we have been though several lockdowns, and the dentists and their families are just as entitled to stay safe as the rest of the country. Also, the receptionists are the nicest that I have ever come across.

I visited Brighton White today for the first time. After calling 10 NHS dentists, they offered to register me and I was lucky enough to get an appointment the same day since someone cancelled. My tooth was killing me so of course I was so happy to hear this. I am also getting married in three weeks so the tooth ache couldn't have come at a worse time. The team at Brighton White was just amazing! From the receptionist to the dental team! All of them made me feel like I am really taken care of. Not only did they take care of my tooth they also gave me a cleaning. A big thank you. Such a wonderful wedding gift.

Was not impressed at all. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and helpful and so was the nurse. The dentist however did not make me feel me comfortable, my anxiety is shot and he didn't help, unfortunately due to the extraction no later than 3 days I'm rushed to hospital to have emergency dental service. I'm not a confident person when it comes to the dentist but he made things worse and he was patrionizing kept repeating "good girl" no matter how much I moved and flinched he carried on. When I left I was in more pain than I was prior to going to this dental practice and I left in tears, it's as though they are there to do a job rather than making sure their patients are comfortable. The nurse was holding my hand trying to calm me as the dentist yanked my teeth saying good girl... I've have more dental treatment in the last 3 days due to complications from the extractions done by this dentist.
