I have been a patient of Simon Wood for 5 years after previously experiencing awful dentistry care in the local area. The practice has a welcoming & calming atmosphere from when you first arrive at the reception which helps with those initial fears. Simon has always put me to ease when it comes to my nerves, and always provides excellent & gentle care. I would never look elsewhere for dentistry care. Every penny is worth Simon’s professional knowledge, skills & patient care.

A fabulous private dentistry. I am seen by Mr. Lumley who is excellent, but I hear the other dentist (Simon) also has first rate reviews. I used to be a bit nervous of dental appointments, but not any more. Mr. Lumley puts me at ease and I never feel any pain during the procedures. I am a bit sore after some of the more invasive treatments, but that simply cannot be avoided.

I had an emergency appointment followed by a filling a week later My whole experience was very well managed from the first call booking in right through to the final appointment- all handled with the professionalism and kindness I have come to appreciate in the 28+ years of being with Lumley and Wood They are handling the current health situation brilliantly If you have any concerns about attending during this time wipe them away as everything is handled correctly with no risks whatsoever. Keep up the good work everyone.

I had an accident a while back losing a couple of my front teeth. I went to Simon after being recommended by a friend. The treatment I’ve had from saving damaged teeth to recently fitting me with my amazing new replacements has been exemplary. Simon and his team are just brilliant and wanted the best outcome for me from the start, all the options were explained throughly allowing me to make an informed decision. I honestly couldn’t be more happy with the result, I can smile with confidence again 😁 a massive Thankyou again to Simon and his team 👍

Had an extraction here today and I must say what excellent service I had from Cheryl Calver and her assistant, very professional and very kind in every way would truly recommend to anyone. Thank you both again so very much.

I can’t thank Simon enough for the kindness and care he has shown with my grown-up son’s repair work. He has not only made his teeth look lovely, he has built his confidence and helped him care for himself. I highly recommend him to anyone who is nervous, fearful or who has let their teeth go. I had a dental emergency so called Simon Wood at Lumley and Wood to arrange an appointment. I was expecting a wait as the surgery had only just re opened but I was delighted to get an appointment within an hour or two of the call. The surgery was running a very efficient system with questions relating to COVID-19 both before and on arrival. My temperature was checked and hand sanitizer was provided. The surgery entrance was only opened for booked patients. I felt very safe in the surgery environment as the staff were wearing PPE with my dentist using a visor and a mask in addition to the usual measures. Extra equipment had been installed to extract the circulating air after every patient and cleaning of surfaces and longer gaps between patients were organised. An excellent service, as always, in what felt like a very safe environment.
