Westmeads Dental Surgery

I have been a patient at this practice for a long time and I have received fantastic treatment- both the routine and the emergency treatment. The team always treat me with courtesy, kindness and extensive knowledge. The team deserve special praise because I am aware that they are over-stretched most of the time, but when I contact them with an urgent dental issue they are always able to offer timely emergency treatment. I really appreciate all the treatment I have received through this practice and highly recommend them as a dental practice.

I have been a patient at Westmeads Dental practice for over 10 years. Throughout this time I have found that all the staff have been exceptional. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming and in an emergency try their best to accommodate requests for immediate appointments. My dentist Ali is very professional and any work that I have needed, has been carried out extremely well and he always explains what is required and my options for treatment. I'm fortunate to be a NHS patient and I am truely grateful to all the staff at the practice. Visiting the dentist is a much more pleasurable experience.

Fantastic surgery. I come all the way from London to have my treatment as I've always trusted Drr Abid Jaffer. I needed some cosmetic work and he done a brilliant job at a fair price. Far less than London clinics and for the same quality. I know he doesn't advertise his work so I wanted to give him a good review to see what others may be missing out on. Excellent veneer work even though he advised me to have aligners. I chose not to as I didn't want to go through it all. Must see him!

Fantastic practice. Fantastic dentists! Always well looked after. Been coming here for years. I'm one of the fortunate ones as I know it is very difficult to join the practice and we are grateful we are seen as NHS patients. All my children come here and we are so lucky. I have to say, in our experience, all the dentists are extremely good with children. I heard that this is the only clinic in the area that is seeing new children on the NHS. Well done to you guys for helping the community. Keep up the great work!

My 6 year old daughter went in today to have her tooth extracted. This being her first ever extraction she was scared and tried to be as brave as she could be. Our original dentist was dealing with her in a nice calm manner until the main dentist whom I do not know came in and made my daughters anxiety levels go through the roof with his impatient and firm way of speaking. There was no I courage meant from his side with numerous watch checks before storming out handing the tool abruptly to the other dentist. This is not a dental practice for children and the unethical manner in which she was dealt with is shocking. Avoid them at all cost. Absolutely disgusted in the way they make a 6 year old feel!

Dr Jaffer first saw me for an emergency and I've stayed with him since. Had a root canal recently (my third) and I had no pain after at all. He's honest, good at what he does and won't charge you unnecessarily. Fantastic.

A friendly, professional, caring team of people are working here and in the event of needing emergency work, they do their utmost to see you as soon as possible. With some of the nightmare stories you hear about people struggling to see a Dentist, I am grateful I'm on West Meads dental surgery's books.
