The Dentist at Liberty Place

I visited the clinic today and had an appointment with Dr. Maria. Before choosing this clinic, I did a lot of research on private dental practices, and this clinic came highly recommended by many people. My experience was excellent. Dr. Maria explains everything very calmly and clearly, gives you different treatment options, and lets you choose the one that best suits your needs and budget. She is also very patient and takes the time to answer all of your questions. I highly recommend her and the clinic.

I visited The Dentist at Liberty Place - Birmingham today for an examination of my molar. The dentist was very thorough throughout the appointment. At the beginning, I was quite nervous, but Dr Maria Sotto-Mayor was very kind and guided me patiently while I explained my problem. The nurse was also very nice, although unfortunately I do not know her name. After the X-ray was taken, Dr Maria Sotto-Mayor carefully and patiently explained my dental problem to me while looking at the image, and she offered me several treatment options. She fully respected my choice, even when I decided to take a more conservative approach for now by using antibiotics first and making a final decision later. During the consultation, I had questions from time to time, and the dentist always answered them patiently and clearly. As my English is not very good, communication was sometimes difficult and I even needed to use a translation app for support, but both the dentist and the nurse were very patient and understanding, which made me feel very grateful. I would also like to make a request. Would it be possible to send me a copy of the record from this consultation, either by email or by post? This would be very helpful for me if I need to consult a dentist in my home country. I would also be very grateful if the X-ray images taken today could be sent to me as well.

Dr Jaskirtan Bajwa is the best dentist. I am normally very nervous around dentists, but he gave me a lot of reassurance and helped me with all my decisions every step of the way. I went for my 14-week mid-review for my aligners, and I really love the way my teeth look now. He gave the best advice to make sure they look beautiful. I can’t wait to finish my treatment and see the final result after composite bonding and my whitening kit.

First I saw Tom the hygienist for a clean up. He was extremely friendly and efficient as he ensured I understood what he was doing at every stage before demonstrating a brushing technique after he’d finished cleaning. Then I saw Amy for my dental check-up. She made sure not to repeat anything Tom had already done making the session more comfortable for me. Again she was kind & excellent in her work. I have only praise for the service I received!

Amy, the dentist who treats me, is very pleasant and professional and explains things well. Mubashar, the hygienist whom I saw most recently, is also pleasant, professional and thorough. The premises are clean and relaxing (which is helpful at a dental surgery!) and the team are good with nervous patients.

I’ve been with the practice 10+ years and happy and comfortable with the service and care provided. They’ve taken me from being in a very bad state initially to good and regular management of my oral health. My appointment today was a quarterly one with the Hygienist Victoria, who I can confidently say is very professional and competent, as are all the staff I’ve experienced over the years.

I have had excellent dental treatment from Hannah, thank you. I refused to complete the health questionnaire as I found it intrusive! Obviously the practice needs to know about allergies, but details of unconnected previous surgery seems completely unnecessary. Now Hannah is retiring, I am unsure if I will continue visiting you or look elsewhere, if I need treatment.
