De-ientes Dental: Clapham Dental Practice

I took my daughter for an appointment at the practice on Friday 19th June. This was for an extraction of her baby tooth. My daughter gets quite nervous and anxious in appointments and with knowing this was coming, she was dreading it. I must say the dentist and dental nurses were absolutely fantastic with her. They were so kind, patient and had wonderful caring manners. Nothing was too much trouble and they took their time with her. Everything was explained, nothing was rushed and they allowed me to sit next to her and hold her hand. I am so impressed with the wonderful care received. Thank you so much to Milly, Sarah, and Rezwana. I was initially dreading the appointment myself knowing how my daughter can be, but I left feeling reassured and calm and the appointment was a success. Thank you to all and would absolutely recommend dientes 😊

Very poor communication and follow-up from a private practice. I visited De-ientes Dental in Clapham on 13 January. Dr Kiran Jutla was pleasant and placed a temporary filling while we discussed options (£155 filling vs £795 crown). Afterwards, I tried twice to get a call back for reassurance and X-rays before committing to costly treatment — no response. Only after leaving a third message did they return my call. An appointment was then booked for Tuesday, but cancelled the day before because the dentist wanted to call me first. I was told she would contact me — it’s now Thursday evening and I’ve heard nothing. Unacceptable service. Patients should not have to chase repeatedly or be left without care after a temporary filling fails. I’ve lost confidence and will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

Excellent treatment always and all staff including reception are fabulous. My only complaint is the answerphone message that states you can book online, however this is only fpr private patients not NHS. Also if you are in the waiting queue on the phone and it flips past closing time, tha call stays connected and your remain in the queue rather than being informed the practice is now closed.

I have now been to the Clapham dentist on various visits over the years of being a patient, and I have to say Tracy on reception is a credit to your business, always welcoming, and lovely to have someone who wants to chat and put you at ease. Keep up the great work!

My filling (performed in October at a cost of £70 pounds) fell out in December. This is the second filling in the same tooth that’s come out. The previous filling (that this replaced) lasted fifty years. Dentistry has gone backwards not improved over the years. Whilst the staff are lovely I don’t feel very happy with the work completed on my tooth for obvious reasons,

Highly recommend dentist practice, fantastic service provided by the staff. My daughter has been on the NHS list and had her braces fitted, and now 18 months later has had them removed. Thank you for your impeccable service.
